The location is very good, the facilities are complete, and the service is warm and thoughtful. The room attendant for the extra bed will wipe the dust on the table again after making the bed. Ask the room attendant if there is laundry detergent, and send a few over immediately. Praise Gao Xiaomei, see my hand is inconvenient, help me put clothes into the wardrobe, and ask me what I need to help.

Perfect location (5 minutes walk to JianGuoMen subway station). Very friendly and helpful staffs. The Concierge here is the best in China. They provided very good recommendations on everything and went out of their way to ensure that our needs were met. Room is very clean, spacious, and well designed. Highly recommended! Its CLEAN. Tourist friendly staff and they can speak english. The hotel is just infront of Beijing hospital. MRT accessible as the Chongwenmen station is just across. It is also close to affordable local restaurants. The famous Wangfungjing St. is just 2 stations away but you need to transfer lanes. Most tourist attractions are just 2-4 stations away. Breakfast is also great at the Citrus Restaurant.

Advantages: 1. The hotel is about 10 minutes' walk from Tiananmen Square. The nearest station is Qianmen Station on Line 2. The lobby is very grand, the hotel covers a large area and has a garden corridor. 3. The doorman service is very good. 4. We live on the 10th floor of Block A. The room is about 38-40 square meters, which is quite spacious. The corridor is very quiet. Only by swiping the card can you go to the floor you live in, which is very safe. 5. The hotel buffet breakfast is rich in categories. Disadvantages: 1. The sound of the air conditioner is quite loud, and it is also obvious when sleeping at night. 2. The shower water in 1024 flows out in a lump, which should be broken. The water in the shower was leaking from the cracks and the toilet floor was overflowing with water. 3. Stay away! The saving grace came from Trip.com which enabled me to terminate our booking without penalty. Awful garbage smell in the room. We checked in at 1am due to late flight arrival. Upon entering the room we we’re concerned about a strange smell in the room. We thought it would go away so we just opened the window. It was late we decided we would ignore the smell but by 6.30 am we couldn’t ignore the foul smell anymore. So we wrote to trip.com to terminate our booking. By 9am we’re ready to check out. At the checkout counter the staff was gracious and friendly and she said our booking was terminated at our request. Just too many faults with this hotel room. Chair needs to be replaced. It easily toppled backwards. Toilet door can’t completely closed. Not sufficient electrical outlets to plug your devices. Curtains are dirty. No hooks in toilet. Only positive staff was friendly.

Comfortable hotel with an amazing location! The hotel itself is clean and the employees were friendly. It’s about a minute walk from the metro and tons of malls nearby. Take the metro for two or three stops and you’ll arrive at the alleys (ex: Nan Luo Gu). I loved the alleys, there were lots of food and cultural shops. Many landmarks are also nearby!

The hotel's only good trait is that it's close to the forbidden city and Wangfuijing shopping district. We were checked into a totally different room than we booked. It was like getting cat fished by a hotel. The hotel is quite stingy with its amenities. Asked for bottled water at the reception, they said they're only selling. I asked them if I could get some free bottled water, but was told they'll send it to my room. I wasn't going back to my room for the bottled water to come as I was leaving. My friend asked for water from her room, they didn't agree to send some right away, but instead continued to ask if there wasn't any in her room. We were mostly unsatisfied with our stay as the room did not match at all with the pictures on the Trip app. The breakfast buffet wasn't that good, it didn't live up to its expensive cost. And the concierge basically scammed us of RMB 183 for a taxi ride to the airport from the hotel, we could see that it only amounted to RMB 65-70 to the airport from the cab's meter. It was also my friend's birthday, so I asked if the hotel offers any complimentary cakes and asked them to bring it at 6pm. They said okay, but nothing arrived at 6pm. So I called them again and they transferred me to 4 different people until someone finally understood basic English and told me that I should've asked for the cake earlier, which I did right after we checked in. The hotel's staff does not do well with communicating internally. Somehow I expected good service as it was a Novotel hotel, but was left highly disappointed.
