The geographical location is average. It is more than half an hour's drive from some important scenic spots in Huairou. There are few supporting businesses in the surrounding area. Its CLEAN. Tourist friendly staff and they can speak english. The hotel is just infront of Beijing hospital. MRT accessible as the Chongwenmen station is just across. It is also close to affordable local restaurants. The famous Wangfungjing St. is just 2 stations away but you need to transfer lanes. Most tourist attractions are just 2-4 stations away. Breakfast is also great at the Citrus Restaurant.

Stay away! The saving grace came from Trip.com which enabled me to terminate our booking without penalty. Awful garbage smell in the room. We checked in at 1am due to late flight arrival. Upon entering the room we we’re concerned about a strange smell in the room. We thought it would go away so we just opened the window. It was late we decided we would ignore the smell but by 6.30 am we couldn’t ignore the foul smell anymore. So we wrote to trip.com to terminate our booking. By 9am we’re ready to check out. At the checkout counter the staff was gracious and friendly and she said our booking was terminated at our request. Just too many faults with this hotel room. Chair needs to be replaced. It easily toppled backwards. Toilet door can’t completely closed. Not sufficient electrical outlets to plug your devices. Curtains are dirty. No hooks in toilet. Only positive staff was friendly.
