Loved the hotel, watched a show. Close to metro station, very easy to get to Peking airport. The only thing is there is not much around (shops and restaurant) as this is mostly office & residential area, so need to walk for about 10min. Easy to get around the city and the theater.

I booked this hotel upstairs for convenience when I came to Poly to see a play during the May Day holiday. I have to say, watching a play here is incredibly smooth. The theater is right on the ground floor, and I could even go back to my room to rest between the matinee and evening shows. Before booking, I saw some reviews saying the hotel was old, but after checking in, I found it to be pretty good. While it definitely shows signs of age, the hygiene was generally quite clean. The room wasn't huge, but there was enough space. The soundproofing was a little lacking; if the TV next door was loud, you could hear it a bit. The staff were friendly; as long as it wasn't too late at night, you could have food deliveries sent to your room by the concierge, and the housekeeping ladies were also very kind. I'd book this place again if I come back to Poly for a show.

The hotel is very convenient, being close to the theater and right next to Dongsi Shitiao subway station. It's super easy to get to places like Wangfujing, Yonghe Temple, Beihai Park, and the Forbidden City. Ordering takeout is also a breeze. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time I'm in Beijing. The only minor downside was that the shower pressure was a bit low.

The location is great, and that's the only good thing about this hotel. I usually don't write reviews, but since the hotel staff called me personally to ask for one, here it is. My check-in experience was absolutely terrible. I booked a room of the same type through Douyin, but the front desk couldn't find my reservation. Both Douyin and the hotel blamed each other, insisting it was the other's fault. Ultimately, they expected me, the customer, to mediate between them, which essentially ruined my entire May Day holiday. I spent all four days of my vacation stressed about this issue, and it finally ended with me re-booking the room through a different platform. It wasn't a huge deal initially, but then on the afternoon of the 4th, the hotel called me asking for a good review on Ctrip. I actually laughed out loud – after ruining my four-day holiday, they still wanted a good review? I would have just let it go with a cold shoulder otherwise, and I can even accept that the hotel facilities are very old. But since you asked for a good review, here's a bad one for you. The front desk couldn't find my reservation, making check-in incredibly difficult and embarrassing, with no follow-up resolution. If it weren't for the good location, I would never book Poly again.

The lobby and art corridors are filled with cultural relics and art exhibits, feeling like an “open art museum” and brimming with cultural ambiance. The guest rooms are simple, comfortable, clean, and tidy, with good soundproofing. Some rooms offer distant views of the China Zun or overlook the East 2nd Ring Road. Though it has a classic feel, it's well-maintained, amenities are complete, and it offers great value for money. Dining options are plentiful: Chinese and Western restaurants, with a wide variety of delicious breakfast choices. In summer, the buffet barbecue is super popular, creating a lively atmosphere for grilling and drinks. Facilities are comprehensive: there's an indoor gym available for free to guests. The service is warm and efficient, with quick responses from the front desk and housekeeping, and thoughtful attention to detail. This hotel combines the stability and convenience of a well-established property with an artistic vibe and excellent transportation. It's suitable for business trips, theater stays, or city explorations, making it a high-value choice within the 2nd Ring Road! Plus, enjoy a complimentary drink (coffee, iced tea, or refreshing juice) at the special lobby bar.

During my stay, I found live bed bugs on the sheets. After getting bitten, my skin was incredibly itchy and covered in red, swollen welts that took a full two weeks to completely disappear. I contacted the hotel for help, but the staff only used a water bottle to collect the bugs and provided absolutely no follow-up, apology, or compensation afterward. Both the hygiene and service were terrible. I strongly advise against staying here! It was my first time ever encountering bed bugs, and it happened in Beijing, at Poly!

Subway line 2 Dong Si Shi Tiao exit B just in front of the hotel. The hotel building is joint with Poly teater. Breakfast is best with variet selection.

The hotel is right outside the subway station, and Line 2 makes it easy to get anywhere. Location is definitely a plus.

I chose Poly for its convenience, as I was seeing 'Only This Green'. It turns out it's very close to Beijing Chaoyang Station, with easy subway access, making its location excellent. While the facilities are a bit dated, the service is still good.

The room wasn't huge, but it was really warm – so warm that I had to open the window to sleep even in winter! 😴 The service was impeccable. We stayed for two nights, and the breakfast buffet was different each day, which shows real effort. The subway station is right downstairs, and the Poly Theatre is on the first floor. It's a shame my kids aren't into musicals; it felt a bit like a waste of a great resource, haha. Da Dong Roast Duck (a Black Pearl restaurant) is also super close, just a 10-minute walk away.

Stayed here for a show at the Poly Theatre, and it was so convenient! It's close to Workers' Stadium and Sanlitun, so the area is lively. Parking is easy. The room was a bit small but cozy and comfortable, and the service was excellent! The restaurant staff were very friendly, and the breakfast quality was good! Highly recommend!

Great location with convenient transportation. The hotel is clean and the service is attentive. I forgot my phone charger when checking out, and the hotel actively contacted me and even mailed it back to me. Although the item wasn't expensive, their sincerity was truly heartwarming. The hotel was excellent! It was super clean, and the service was top-notch. The location is really convenient, with plenty of shops, supermarkets, and local eateries nearby. It was also very quiet, making for a very pleasant trip! 😁😁😁 Just a small suggestion: the toilet in the bathroom was a little finicky, which is why I gave it 4.5 stars.
