It is good to go to the Great Wall after eating. Going to the Great Wall, there may be a free shuttle bus from the nearby Chaxi parking lot during the May Day holiday. If there is no shuttle bus, just walk along the way you came. I only went to the first to twelfth floors of the north slope of the Great Wall. There were not many people on the last day of the holiday. I rested as I climbed and there were empty seats everywhere. It took three hours to walk slowly, and two hours might be enough for a full effort. I sat down on the twelfth floor to eat something, and stayed for an hour to enjoy the beautiful scenery. I returned to the eleventh floor and went out from the city gate. I followed the crowd and walked around along the main road. I saw the "Juyongwai Town" city gate and returned to the city gate. I went back to rest in the afternoon. The itinerary was very relaxed. In addition, you must bring water when climbing the Great Wall, otherwise you will be thirsty. If you don't bring many children, you can check in advance which enemy tower is in. The high-speed train to Beijing still goes to the "Badaling Great Wall Station". You must leave time to leave early and don't panic. It seems that the ticket checking will be stopped more than ten minutes in advance, because the ticket gate is far away from the train.
