Beijing Tiantan Huiqingyuan Hotel Reviews

We booked an air conditioned room, but the central air conditioning unit for the hotel was out for our stay, which ****** since the host puts on very warm central heating for the hotel. We thus never needed any bed sheets with how hot it was, but at the same time we were not sweating. This is the reason I rated the “amenities” low. This was the only negative however, as the host was nice enough to move us to a room closer to the entrance of the hotel (where cold air comes in whenever someone opens the door) and would also turn off the heat during the evening. So that was much appreciated. The location is close to a few bus stops, and right beside longtan park. while on a map it may look like you’re right beside the Temple of Heaven, it is not within walking distance as Beijing is simply just massive.

The hotel was in a nice area by some beautiful parks and away from the busy centre, you could easily get a bus into the centre or walk about 20minutes to the metro station. The temple of heaven is also walking distance (same as the metro). The room was clean. We had a room with no window which I would not choose again but this was nothing against the hotel. The bed was large but form as most beds have been in China.

The service is great, the hostel owner is kind and does his best to help but the hostel is in disrepair - it may just be offseason but the bathroom and half of the rooms had their ceilings collapse during our stay - this was after 2 room changes due to smell, no windows, no space etc. Empathetic owners but accomodation that clearly needs a bit of work.

The place was nice and the staff was good! I asked for extra blanket and they were very kind! Will stay again if in Beijing!

Best option for backpacking in Beijing! It has everything you need for an affordable price!

Nice affordable, price wise accurate for the offering, all necessary for the stay is available. Quite good location. Only inconvenient not much to do in the area.

We stayed in the hotel for three nights. The hotel is reachable with the subway line 5 but the next station is 24 minutes walk or 6 minutes with a bicycle. The room was big enough and good for a short stay. In the bathroom however the shower was leaking and after taking a shower half of the bathroom was underwater. The towels were a bit dirty and the bed sheets also had small stains. All in all it was good for three nights and the people working in the hotel were really friendly (but if you don’t speak Chinese it will be difficult to communicate with them).

The room is was given was too small not as advertised. Water goes to the room when you are bathing. But it was great experience. Maybe hotel can improve these.

For the price the hotel was OK. Not the best service or rooms. Everything was acceptable for the price. What was not acceptable was the many noice that come at night. Nothing is sounds proof and the cleaning lady would shout in the hallways at 5 am or earlier. So yeah, good price but keep this in mind.

The hotel is small but the staff is kind and efficient. Our room wasn't cleaned everyday but we always found some coffee waiting for us.

We had found bugs on our room this is why we left. I didn’t received my refund, its been more than two weeks now

The location was suitable for Mongolian travelers. The most Mongolians who are coming to china get off of the bus in the nearby station. The price was not that high so I didn't expect the room decoration and cleanness.

Great service ,the owner was helpful .location is excellent close to temple of Heaven with walking distance in 15 minutes. Bus station walk in 20 minutes We rate hotel a 4 star

The hotel was OK, compare to the price it was good. As I stated for a long time I could save my money. The hotel is near to the bus station of number 6 and 60,which was convenient.
