Stayed on 29 Nov; arrived hotel late but warmly welcomed by the hotel staffs. They are all very friendly, rooms are cozy and comfortable; love the cafe atmosphere too. Photo taken is outside the cafe :)

We had always wanted to stay near the Hutong and after doing some research online, Shàn hotel was our top choice. A chic and minimalist design hotel in the xicheng district. There’s also a 网红 cafe in the hotel. The location is superb as it’s just a short walk to 大柵欄. There are delish eatery near the hotel like 陳記鹵煮小腸, 河沿肉饼 and their popular breakfast 豆汁. I received a card by the hotel manager upon checking in. I always love hand written card as it will never go out of style! On our last day, we met the owner of Shàn hotel and chatted for a bit before heading to the airport. I would definitely revisit Beijing again!

I can't say enough about how amazing the staffs are. The hotel rooms are very modern and clean. Location is super convenient. We also had gatherings there upstairs rooftop, it was a very unique and private experience.
