The room is spacious and nice. I requested a humidifier and less than five minutes the housekeeper send one to The room and set it up. The view from my room is very nice. The breakfast buffet is best so far, lots of variety and tasty. Quick respond we needed to check out and requested for help to send down our luggage. The front office manager helped me get a taxi to go PEK airport in the evening. Nearby there is a mall with macdonalds, steamboat and movie theatre etc. about 1.6 km walk to wang fu Jing shopping area.

I stayed 31 nights during january 2024 at 7 days inn hotel. I chose this hotel because it was very close to the subway, in the center of Beijing and the heating system was good according to the reviews. I changed room the first day so I could have a little bit better room. The previous room had no universal charger and was very dark, the windows in front of a wall. My room was on the first floor, just next to the shared bathroom and to the water dispenser. The room was very big and quiet (unless people talk in the corridor), not a lot of light but some rooms has more sun light than others. No fridge inside but since it was january I put my food outside the windows if I wanted to keep it fresh. If you want to warm some food, you can use the microwage in the commun area but I never used it. The commun area is very close from the entrance door so it was very chilly. The staff was nice but almost no english. They explained to me how to use the washing machine and once the wifi was not working so they helped me. Internet was definetly not very good but I was able to watch youtube with my vpn. I will start now talking about the shared bathroom (which I already knew was shared when booking) but I didn't know the toilet would be squat toilets. I think if I knew before, I wouldn't choose this hotel. There was no lock in the toilets. The shower room has one and was very cold (because winter). The hot water was always there but I took my shower usually in the morning (so less people). The shared bathroom was dirty mostly because of clients that didn't clean after their buisness. There was regulary water on the floor so I was just going with my shoes on at some point. The washing machine was broken the first 2 weeks and then got replaced. I'm still a bit confused if clients can use it or only the staff, but I used it anyway. The area is maybe a bit empty at first but if you go to the Hong Qiao Pearl Market, in the basement there is a big food court where you can try chinese food (or subway and macdonalds). Overall I liked my journey in this hotel but I think it was too expensive for a shared bathroom this old and dirty. I paid 1000 euros for 31 days.

Toilets are inside the rooms with half doors so it’s smelling naturally however clean they maintain ( a design flaw and not the quality of service) breakfast is good but no name boards in English to help customers. Basically it’s an economical place to live in groups of four. The guy who checked us in was helpful though.

I was traveling with my children during the Spring Festival of the Year of the Dragon. I was looking for a room with one large bed and one small bed near Tiananmen Square. Hotel prices in Beijing skyrocket during the Spring Festival. The price of 2,000 yuan is really not cheap. But fortunately, it is close to Tiananmen Square, the front door of the Line 8 subway station. The simple meals served in the hotel every night have become my foodie son’s daily obsession. He goes there by himself every day. Eat and drink enough before coming back to sleep, haha, this is really thoughtful. The only thing is that the hotel's soundproofing is not very good. We set an alarm for 5 o'clock on the day we went to Universal. We could hear the alarm clock next door at the same time clearly, which was quite interesting, but it did not affect the living experience.

Bathroom/shower stalls need to be cleaned THOROUGHLY of grim/stains and MOULDS! Which are not only unsightly but pose a danger to health! This is for ALL rooms! Water from shower stalls do not drain well due to poor construction gradient of shower floor. Check in smooth and although booked a room on 2/3rd floors, was given one on 4th floor accessible through an external door on 3rd fl through 2 flights of stairs and to the outside, certainly unsuitable for any older persons! Was subsequently given one on 3rd for subsequent nights. Poor room layouts, no storage space/hooks for clothes, no fridge and dismal lighting. Architect/designer has much to learn about room layouts etc before embarking on further hotel designs! Breakfast was ample/adequate but could have some different varieties each day for those who stay longer. This could have been an innovative arty hotel which the Owner has in mind but for the above. Saving grace was the front desk staff who were most helpful and special mention should be made of Helen, Owen, Jake and Vivian.

When we checked in, we asked if there was hot water and we were immediately given warm mineral water! Attentive and warm service! The breakfast is different every day and quite rich. It is 10 minutes away from Tiantan East Metro Station, so traveling is very convenient! The hotel facilities are very new, the problems I had when I checked in were solved in time, and the service attitude is very good (at least the front desk I encountered was enthusiastic).
