Silver Beach Yuese Hostel

Cleanliness: The basic hygiene was impeccable. Service: Several staff members at the front desk were incredibly friendly, offering complimentary drinks and providing port transfer service. Plus, there were adorable cats at the front desk you could pet! Amenities: The decor was simple but charming. I loved the tatami design in the room, and the window overlooked lush greenery. There's also a swimming pool right outside.

Facilities: It feels like home, very convenient for getting around, and close to Silver Beach, about an 8-minute walk. Hygiene: The bathroom is equipped with hand-wash laundry detergent, branded toiletries (Ma brand), fresh toilet paper, and a new toilet seat cover daily. Environment: The whole guesthouse in the villa area is the kind you fall in love with at first sight. Service: There's a shuttle service to and from the pier. They even prepared takeaway breakfast for me when I was catching the first ferry.

Facilities: The villa area has a swimming pool, a small fish pond, potted plants, and a large cluster of bougainvillea climbing the walls, all in bloom – absolutely beautiful. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: The room was very spacious, comfortable, and cozy. So much so that my child would always say, "I want to go back to the guesthouse!" every time we went out. When we were about to leave, my child even begged to stay another night. Service: They arranged pick-up from Beihai Station. When we arrived at the guesthouse, a staff member promptly came to the car to help with luggage, check-in, and brought our bags to the room. Daily, there's coffee and juice, and the front desk also has fruits available to eat. There are two gentle cats at the guesthouse. Compared to similar guesthouses, the breakfast is really impressive – a good variety, and the overall taste is great. Whenever I come to Beihai in the future, this will be my go-to place to stay!

The B&B has a lovely courtyard with many beautiful flowers. Its location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the beach. Plus, they offer free pick-up service from the station.

The service was warm, attentive, and thorough. The room was quite spacious, and they even provided mosquito repellent for the children while they swam in the pool. There were seafood processing facilities and a small supermarket nearby. It was a five or six-minute walk to the entrance of Happy Bay. There were many small crabs on the beach. I would suggest adding a non-spicy topping to the rice noodles for breakfast, as they only offer a mildly spicy topping.

I suddenly discovered that the gift I sent was expired. What does that mean?

I stayed for four nights and really can't give a good review. 1. The room wasn't soundproof. Noise from other guests was constant, both in the morning and after 10:30 PM. I contacted the owner, but it didn't help. I really suggest putting up a sign or reminding them, since other people are resting. And there should be some order, right? If you're a light sleeper or want to sleep in, you should probably avoid this place. 2. The breakfast was really monotonous. It was rice noodles, milk, soy milk, and bread every day. The side dishes were pretty much the same every day. Personally, I think this is understandable for a guesthouse. To be fair, the environment was relatively nice. It was quite cozy and clean. Although it wasn't big, the greenery, flowers, and water features made it quite pleasant.

This was my parents' first trip to Beihai, and we stayed near Silver Beach for two nights. We spent a long time choosing a hotel and guesthouse in the area, with many options at varying prices, but we ultimately decided on this one for its good value. The room was great, and the staff's service was impeccable; they recommended attractions and restaurants. It's very close to Silver Beach, just a short walk away, and you can watch the sunset there.

We booked two nights initially and were very comfortable, so we extended our stay for another two nights. Since they were out of rooms for the last two nights, they upgraded us to a family suite. The room was very clean, spacious, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows, a beautiful courtyard, and a great breakfast. The noodles were especially delicious. They offer free airport/high-speed rail station pick-up and drop-off, as well as free pick-up and drop-off service at the international passenger terminal. Freshly made tea, coffee, and juice are unlimited. Highly recommended, I'll definitely stay here again.
