Beautiful, comfortable room. Public rooms also beautiful. Great location. Lovely staff. Excellent hospitality and breakfast.

Cuthbert Houuse is awesome in every aspect! They just finished a total renovation. they kept all the charm while adding all the modern amenities you expect. Karen checked us in and she gave us a tour of the house plus invited us for evening happy hour! Later we saw Carrie the property manager and she is also very welcoming and service oriented. Our room was spacious and charming. The property has a beautiful view of the water from the two front porches. Breakfast is also excellent! You must stay here if visiting Beaufort!

What a marvelous experience! The Cuthbert Inn is beautiful and full of history. The hosts and staff are friendly, accommodating and professional. The Eastlake suite is marvelous with a large lovely parlor to relax in. The bedroom is welcoming, comfortable and spacious. It has a large bathroom with claw foot tub and separate shower. We are definitely planning on going back!!

Great Bed & Breakfast Great People Great Experience Beautiful View Many activities & food within walking distance. Felt very safe. Breakfast was delicious every morning, afternoon wine/beer/tea with hors d’oeuvres, & a sweet treat to end the day. The bed linens were so comfy that I ordered a set for home!!

We only stayed here two nights, but we were treated like special guest. Our room was nicely appointed, and good size. The staff at the inn was bend over backwards helpful and friendly. Our breakfast were outstanding. French press coffee, and a featured breakfast, or you could basically call your own. It was wonderfully prepared, and served with juice, fruit, and toast with jam. The evening social hour was very pleasant. Ample amount and variety of wines, cheese, crackers, finger food, vegetables and dip, etc. Cordial conversation with fellow guest. Very pleasant. I remarked to my wife, you know, if you would subtract the value of the breakfast and social hour, our room cost is a bargain. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay again.

This was an exceptional experience in every way. Fantastic friendly staff with beautiful historic facilities and a view that is out of this world. BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!

We’ve stayed at the Cuthbert House Inn several times over the years, through 3 or 4 owners, and we keep coming back! We love the front porch with its view of the waterfront, and happy hour at 5:00 pm. If we time it right, breakfast at the table in front of the the bay window is a real treat. It is a favorite of many guests. The location of the Inn can’t be beat. We always enjoy parking our car and forgetting it until time to leave. We walk to the historic district for lunch, dinner, shopping, and we always take time to relax on a bench swing in the waterfront park. This visit we enjoyed conversation with the recent new owner and, as always, chats with the the staff, who are most welcoming and helpful. We also enjoyed the comfort of the spacious Federal Room. The well qualified new owners seem to be getting their feet on the ground. A big renovation will begin soon; we hope they retain the charm and character of the place, and we look forward to seeing the improvements. Finally, I must say there is room for improvement in breakfast. Though they seem proud to announce they’ve hired a “chef”, we did notice a decline in the quality of breakfast vs. previous visits. Perhaps this and other feedback will spark some attention to the menu.

This was our second visit to this marvelous place in a picturesque town with lots to do and good places to eat! Eye candy all around! Beautiful mansion, gorgeous location, super staff, delicious breakfast! So grateful this gracious inn loaded with history welcomes four-legged family members as well.

Our stay at Cuthbert House Inn was FANTASTIC! The house and property are beautiful and the staff are the epitome of hospitality and warmth. We were lucky enough to book the Eastlake Suite for Thanksgiving week. The room was very spacious and provided a great option for our family with the pull-out bed in the parlor. While my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we were even more impressed with how the staff made our 6 year old son feel right at home. They were always engaging him, provided delicious breakfast options, and were incredibly patient with his many questions. We cannot say enough about our stay and are already marking our calendars for the next visit.
