Premier Inn Glasgow (Bearsden)

Nice hotel. What you would expect from a budget chain hotel.

Premier Inn Standards continue to slide. It is so sad to see what was one of the Gems of UK Budget Hotels continue to decline. They have of course recently abandoned what was their USP by closing ALL their restaurants attached to their hotels! The smaller replacement Breakfast Rooms, and the Restricted Menu Evening Meal offerings are also accompanied by the long established cut backs in maintenance and refurbishment aspects. Death by a thousand cuts is in progress! This individual hotel actually has a nice location and ample parking and the staff are great - but its decor is shabby and tired and on the occasion of my visit the lift was "Out of Order"! The breakfast room is small and must be a nightmare at weekends. At the time of my midweek visit the breakfast room was quiet but I still had to wait for Bacon to be available on the Buffet - even after I ordered and received my "cooked to order" Poached Eggs! Such a shame!

Convenient hotel with clen, come room and good shower. Burnbrae restaurant was beside the hotel for dinner with tasty food.

Arrived at midnight and was able to check in very quickly and smoothly. Room was typical Premier Inn and was suitable for our needs. Bed was comfy. In the morning, I was able to pay for breakfast and the restaurant was not too busy. Food was tasty and filled us up for the morning. Receptionist was very helpful and was able to get me an iron and board to iron my shirt. Receptionist also helped me arrange a taxi to my event. Would consider visiting again.

Fantastic overnight stay. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much bother for them. The room was immaculate, great shower and very comfy bed. Breakfast was also brilliant. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely return to this hotel. Thank you!

Staff quality and helpfulness first class/ day and night receptionists excellent/ restaurant staff warm and took great care/ breakfast excellent and promptly served

No surprises here, reception helpful, room just as you would expect, breakfast was remarkably good. Bike storage in room is helpful. If you are doing the West Highland Way stay here rather than premier inn, Milngavie it's 3 minutes away and half the price.

Heater resets itself back to 17c so had to keep bumping it back up. A couple minor bug bites in the morning. Paid $130 for one night but a fairer price for what you get should be half that price at most.
