Absolutely fell in love. Very much serene view and location on top of the beach/ocean. Breakfast buffet were quite basic. Variety is there but not the quality and or taste. Not up to par for the price paid. Lotsa of pastries tho. Good services with check in and check out. Buggy were fast, despite all the comments. Beautiful view of sunset and sunrise. Don’t miss the sunset near the pool area. Stunning.

I recently stayed here and overall, it was a delightful experience. The resort was beautiful, and the amenities offered were impressive.

Resort is not too far away from the Kuala Lumpur airport. It might have been re-renovated. Rooms are modern designed.
But due to some redecorations in the lobby, the check in counters are temporary. Network s might be slow. It costed me almost 45 minutes to check in.
Room service is slow. Though I called up to clean the room at around 11am. Nobody came even at 1pm.
But the resort is very relaxing and the buggy service is very good.

Avani is secluded at Bagan Lalang beach. I travelled from KL sentral to ERL Salak Tinggi which takes about 1 and half hour. Grab is easily available from ERL to Avani but NOT from Avani to ERL Salak Tinggi which takes me 1 hour to get Grab driver. So quite risky if you come with Grab.
Upon arrival, sadly the reception changed to ballroom. Then after check in, buggy is nowhere at the reception area, I got to walk 1/3 of the main way with my luggages until buggy came. Sad.
Second sad thing, power trip happened suddenly from 7-9pm. So sad tourist have to wander at the dining area waiting for the current to back again.
Third sad thing, after power trip, my TV room and telephone dysfunction, called reception thru my phone no one answered. Called them again the next day, the reception man keep saying maintennace will come but no one ever come to my room!
Wifi and line coverage very poor in my room.
Water suddenly slow during shower.
Breakfast spread was just average taste. Nasi goreng was bland. Salad choice very minimal. Pastry was keras. The only yummy dish were roti canai, capati with dhal, nasi lemak and rendang. Food was not up to par for a 5 stars hotel. I went to Pelangi Resort Langkawi which is 5 stars and their buggy service, food are spectacular compared to Avani.
Their gym quite smelly, threadmill got sweat stain not cleaned up. I wonder where the cleaner are.
So bad Avani. Not worth of my 1k money here. I am sad and regret. Not an experience I looked up into. Sigh. Not recommend and will never ever come again.

Facilities are tip top. The room is cozy. A place great for relaxation. The staff is very friendly. Lots of choices for breakfast. Will stay here next time when in Bagan Lalang.

In summary, everything turns out good and beyond my expectations.
1. Valet Parking - affordable rate, RM25 per entry
2. Reception counter - friendly and fast check in and check out service. Welcome drink is self-service.
3. Room - assigned with 2 twin beds Superior room with sea view. And near to lobby. The room has birthday decoration to surprise me! Amenities and facilities are good, no complain.
4. Buggy service - ride on anytime.
5. Breakfast - variety is good, hot and cold food available, fresh fruit juice, breakfast with sea view. Service might be slow due to peak hour and less waiter availability.
6. Free fire show at 830pm.

We enjoyed the time in the hotel, with firework on the beach, as well as Chinese restaurant, Western bar shop, as well as buffet in the morning and special buffet at dinner with whole fired BBQ fish on spot. We reserved spa service as well as candle dinner at the beach. It's such a precious moment that is unforgettable with some photos taken by the help from the staff while dining. The staff is nice with caring. Even the shuttle drivers are so welcome to offer help at anytime needed them. The seaside pool is nice with staff reminder of any dangerous area not to stay at the pool edge. Overall, I love this hotel and the people here with much appreciation to their serving hearts !!! Excellent !

A great place to chill/relax and healing. Close to nature.
The balcony concept is really awesome - can relax and read book/mediate/eat/chit chat with partner. Morning chill at the balcony is really refreshing compare to from the busy city.
No much of adventures activities - more of a relaxing/subtle concept for relax and healing.
The room can be more cleaner/dust free/missing laundry bag/add tamil radio station.
