Facilities: Extremely outdated, comparable to a 3-star hotel in China. Cleanliness: Very damp. The bedding and sheets were uncomfortably humid, and there were water droplets all over the windows the next morning. Environment: The public areas and facilities were also very old. The swimming towels looked so old and worn that I didn't dare use them, and the sun lounger cushions were dirty and old. Service: Practically nonexistent. After checking in, no one guided us to our room. They just let guests navigate this large hotel by themselves, which made finding the room difficult. The breakfast was also unappetizing and lacked any special features. Those with high expectations should definitely avoid this place. The excavator construction on the beach was also very noisy, the beach view was mediocre, and the location was quite remote.

Peaceful, aesthetic, and perfect for a relaxing getaway 🌿✨ Spacious room with a cute balcony + outdoor bathtub 🛁💫, friendly staff, and a nice beachfront location. Breakfast was good, but other food just okay. Not a luxury or activity packed hotel, but 💯 worth it for calm vibes and quiet healing stay 💆🏻♀️🌊

The hotel is right by the sea, with the beach just beyond the lawn and outdoor pool. The staff provided excellent service, and check-in was very quick. I loved the lawn and big trees outside my window, especially when they were lit up at night – it looked beautiful. You can watch the sunset directly from your room or balcony, though many people go down to the beach to see it up close by the water. A short walk from there is the beach fire show. Turn right outside the hotel's main entrance, and you'll find a bustling night market in the evenings, with lots of traffic and activity. During the day, it's much quieter. It feels like a small town here, with many houses and even an amusement park, plus a surprisingly large Starbucks. As a Marriott resort, the hotel's facilities and services are top-notch. I especially have to mention the live cooking station at breakfast; both the freshly cooked noodles and vermicelli were delicious, but you absolutely cannot miss the soup – it was amazing! 👍

A truly unique experience sitting by the pool under the pine trees in the tropics. There are monkeys, crows, sunbirds, geckos, and bulbuls around. Loved it!

A great place to have the chilling, overally the food, hotel, environment is great especially the landscape very suitable for photo shooting but unfortunately the beach is not “user friendly” due to the corruption of the sea level, the beach is very limited

This hotel is indeed very clean, with a pleasant fragrance throughout, which is commendable. I booked a suite through Trip.com because it seemed like a great value, with a small separate area where a sofa bed could be made, perfect for traveling with my parents. However, the service doesn't live up to Marriott standards at all. The front desk offered no information, and there were no hotel activities. The breakfast variety was decent, but aside from the female manager, the restaurant staff showed little initiative. What particularly stood out was how attentive they were to white guests; when I asked for three iced coffees upon entering, I had to wait a long time and remind them before they were brought to me. I'd recommend everyone avoid this place.

I've always wanted to stay at this hotel because of the drama 'Single Love, Dual City.' I admit I was a bit hesitant after reading some reviews about cleanliness issues before booking. However, I decided to go ahead, and thankfully, my room was incredibly clean, comfortable, and spacious. The overall layout, especially the bathroom, was very relaxing. As soon as I arrived, a butler helped me with my luggage and brought it up to my room. The front desk staff were also lovely, with excellent service attitudes! The hotel's garden environment is absolutely fantastic too; you could spend all day taking photos downstairs and get some amazing shots! The buffet breakfast, though, was quite average. If you're coming for the ambiance, I honestly think you should book without hesitation. If I have another chance, I'd definitely choose this hotel again. It's truly relaxing!!!!!

I finally figured out that this hotel is a Marriott property. The resort has a very green, natural, and tropical vibe. The staff are all excellent, warm, and helpful. I particularly liked the small bathtub on the room's balcony – a unique touch. I even had the chance to witness a local Malay-Indian wedding, which added a special cultural flavor to my stay.

I chose this property for a quiet and relaxing stay, given its positioning as a luxury resort under the Marriott portfolio. However, I was not informed prior to check-in that a large outdoor wedding would be held on the lawn the following morning. At 9:30 AM, amplified music and loudspeaker announcements began directly outside my room. What was particularly disappointing was that my room appeared to be one of the closest to the event sound system. No prior disclosure was given, and no effort was made to allocate rooms away from the event area. While weddings are understandable at resort properties, proper communication and room allocation management are expected at this level. Being woken up by amplified speakers on what was meant to be a restful vacation morning significantly affected the experience. I hope the hotel reviews its event impact management process to better protect guest rest in the future.

The hygiene was actually quite good, not as bad as some reviews suggested. It was more about the aging facilities rather than actual stains. The shower water pressure was fantastic, making my showers super efficient. The public areas truly live up to their reputation for beauty and design, embodying the unique style of Tribute Portfolio. I even stumbled upon an Indian wedding during my stay, and the decorations were absolutely stunning. Through the Nanyang-style white louvered windows, the pine trees and ocean waves outside formed a picturesque scene, like an oil painting. The ceiling fan on the windowsill provided a cool breeze and kept mosquitoes away, making it a perfect spot to sit and enjoy a cup of tea for a long time. The surrounding area offers plenty of dining options. While the breakfast selection wasn't huge and some local dishes weren't to my taste, there were enough other options to suffice. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Overall, it's pretty good. Although the facilities are a bit old and maintenance is average, the overall comfort level is very good.
