The hotel room is clean and spacious. What I like most about this hotel is the staffs welcoming attitude whenever they see me arrive at this hotel as they always great me at the lobby day and night. The hotel is also strategically located nearby a shopping centre.

Staff is very friendly. They gave us a connecting room even though we only booked a normal room.
Hotel is quite old, and some of the facilities are quite worn out. But overall is still good for this price point.
Location is good too. Walked straight out and you can locate numerous restaurants.

Hotel is old and has a mouldy smell. I think the rooms need a detail steam cleaning to get rid of the smell. It’s only for one night, so we didn’t complain.

I went there with low expectations because of the reviews on tripadvisor. But I think the hotel is pretty good overall. Yes, the hotel is a little old, and the linens may have a tiny stain, but i was pleasantly surprised that their twin bed is actually a queen size bed and a single bed. Their rooms are also furnished with mostly wooden furnitures. One more thing i really like is the aircon, its very strong and very cold. We wrapped ourselves in the blanket like a burrito. Maybe one small thing to note is that although there are “no smoking” signs in the lifts, there are still travellers that openly smoke in there. But other than that, i think the hotel is okay overall. It is also pretty secure, because you need to scan the room card before selecting the level you want to go to. Theres also Macdonalds nearby, just need to cross the road.

As usual I'm always stay in this hotel went im in batam...for me it worth of money and all staff are very helpful and friendly. ...room was clean and spacious....highly recommended

My main complaint of this hotel is that there is a "Private KTV (Level 4)" and this is served by two lobby. At the lift lobby (which has 5 lifts), out of which only 2 serves Level 4 which is literally named "Private KTV (Level 4)", so definitely not all guests would know of this hidden floor. Very seedy :| Next morning at the the hotel breakfast restaurant, there were a lot of "suspicious characters"... the kind of guys you'd expect to patronise a KTV, with young pretty girls (probably ******* or hostesses) around their arms, which made the breakfast environment very uncomfortable. The food was subpar anyway, bland, tasteless and overall poor (although the food isn't the main issue). Truly don't think the hotel is family-friendly with the presence of a "Private KTV". I guess you get what you pay for, cheap hotel with cheap visitors.
Otherwise, here's what's good about the hotel. Location was nearer to Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal (10-15 mins drive), and Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall (5-10 mins drive), though there's not much in the area, not even an Indomaret convenience shop. Rooms has wooden fixture which gives it a "rustic charm" feel. Aircon is fine, the lobby is grand and alright. Service is alright I guess, nothing too outstanding, and not that bad either.
Will probably only return to this hotel if I know the "Private KTV" has been closed for good.
