Very convenient location with the city centre/old town c 10 min walk. Staff friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Good buffet breakfast. Comfortable bed and good room facilities.

Location is great - quick, 10 min walk to the center of Old Town and 2-3 min walk to the bus. Clean and comfortable room and staff is very friendly.

Staff are very friendly and helpful! Very much enjoyed the welcome drink and added crisps. The location of the hotel is a stones throw away from the main area of shops & museums. Basel card is a great added bonus. Stayed 1 night and came back a few days later to a very warm welcome. Would recommend and stay again :)

Great, central location. Public parking garage nearby and close to train station.
Bathroom extremely small and dated.
Noice cancellation from main road in front of hotel not great.
Nice small bar area with a welcome drink.

It was really good hotel and good service. It worth to all your money. Staff was so kind especially Alex helped us a lot and he was so kind. They treated us with free drinks and also updated our room to bigger one without any additional cost.

Pluses: clean rooms, modern design, plenty of lighting in the room, well-thought-out room organization (prepared for every need), convenient location, free public transportation pass, within a 10-minute walk to a grocery store, friendly staff, eco-friendly service, free first drink, elevator, great noise-insulation, AC control within the room, plenty of selection of English-speaking channels.
3 minor inconveniences: (1). The first two steps at the entrance are not ADA-compliant. There might be another entrance that is possibly ADA-compliant that we don't know about. (2). One of our neighbors had a fire alarm in their room at 4 a.m. The firefighters came very quickly. (3). Every 2-5 minutes our TV had an extra display within the frame of the show, which disrupted subtitles. It seemed like it was advertising all the TV's capabilities. I could have asked the staff for assistance, but it was such a minor problem that I kept forgetting about it.

Desimir was a most authentically warm, friendly, hospitable person serving guests for breakfast, which opened into a truly lovely garden. Of course, the front desk staff were very helpful, warm, and welcoming of guests as well.
