We went on a couple's vacation. We booked 2 nights at the hotel. On the first day we went to the spa and asked the clerk to order a couple's treatment package and emphasized to her that it would be for a couple. Despite this, she sold us a treatment that is separate for each of us and not in the same room. I asked to do the treatment in the same room and was told that it was not possible. Sold us their most expensive package because she probably wanted to get her manager's bonus and I also paid more and more than for couple therapy and she also ruined our experience in couple therapy. I'm really angry. I asked for a manager when leaving the hotel I was told that he was busy and couldn't come talk to me about it It's really disappointing that they don't provide service to a guest who paid very dearly for a vacation in the middle of winter and the hotel was almost completely empty so I should get better service when it's busy like in the summer I don't recommend you go there

I stayed here for a week mid September with my 3 sisters. The hotel is literally across the road from the lake and approx a 15-20 min walk into Bardolino. The shuttle bus from the hotel is available if you want it. We booked two rooms and were lucky enough to be upgraded to suites. The huge bed was able to be separated into two so you could sleep alone if you chose. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over, plus a separate shower cubicle and bidet. The showers were really good and towels readily available. If you empty the minifridge, you can fit 2litre bottles in if needed. On to the restaurant - we stayed half board and the food was excellent-a huge buffet for breakfast, including a short order chef making fresh omelettes. There was soy milk and gluten free options also. You could also have a cheeky bucks fizz with your breakfast! The evening meal was a la carte with four courses: a wide range of salad buffet, starter, main and then a dessert buffet. Must have put in 1/2 a stone! The facilities are brilliant, spa jets in the outdoor pool (one of 4!) plus a great indoor pool. I would have liked to see towels provided in the indoor spa as there are none, but I used my room towel. The best part of this hotel is the great staff, always helpful and smiling. The waiting staff in the restaurant were really efficient and pleasant at all times. A special mention to Olympio at the pool bar who looked after us. Overall, this is a great hotel and I would highly recommend staying half board, as the food is exceptional. Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed here for four nights early on in our five week tour of Italy. We were very pleased we did as the hotel exceeded our expectations - from check in to the waiting staff they are all very friendly, provide good service and speak good English to compensate for our minimal Italian. The room was nice with a good bathroom. Hotel is well maintained and clean. We used the nice circular internal heated pool (heated to 28-30) with a range of jacuzzi type options. The outside pools were closed whilst we were there.. Nice bath robes are supplied although you may need to swap the sizes. Breakfast was good with a wide range of buffet options. Bar prices were good value. We only had dinner in the hotel once but it was good, again with good service. The multi level layout takes a bit of navigating but fine once you’re used to it. Good (free) underground car parking that you don’t need to book and a helpful Porter service for luggage from there. It’s a 20/25 minute walk by the lake into Bardolino centre with a wide range of restaurants. We walked 5 minutes to a nearby seafood restaurant Piccolo Doge - good food and service, quirky decor. Only quirk which surprised us on checkout was we were charged €5 for the rubber flip flops provided in our room, which we had just left behind - basically, once you open the packet they are yours to keep. They then gave us a new pair to take.

We returned (last came 2019 and have written an extensive review about this) and it did not disappoint. Superb customer service, facilities, food and entertainment. Value for money! Our expedition on the cable car up Monte Baldo was spectacular! Very punctual bus service. Some of the music entertainment was superb. It is a unique Christmas break and the therapies cured all British ills! Grazie mille x

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. Our rooms were impeccably clean and provided a comfortable retreat, though it would have been even better with a coffee machine in the room. The spa facilities were pristine and spacious, although they tended to get quite crowded in the afternoon and evening, so I'd recommend visiting in the morning. The location was fantastic, allowing easy access to Bardolino and Lazise on foot. We rented bikes, but unfortunately, they had some issues, as the front lights didn't work, and one of the seats was broken. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for both families and couples.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and staff where so friendly and welcoming throughout and were always available The waiting staff where particularly good as so efficient and friendly - you wouldn't have to wait long to catch their attention The food was outstanding and was like going out for posh meal every night which was a nice surprise and couldn't fault it - the desserts where unbelievably delicious and irresistible - best ever had! The outside pool was lovely with spa jets around so was really with the beautiful mountain view Going to pool bar for lunch and spritz was especially good as the bar manager olympio made everyone feel special taking time to talk to you despite being so busy The service all round in the hotel was first class My only complaint was the massage booked for over 100 euros There were 4 of us and we all booked the same treatment but received completely different experience of it and only one of us felt it was worth the price - felt so disappointed as it is a Spa hotel after all! None of us booked further treatments because of this which disappointed us all We are used to going in spa breaks and wouldn't recommend this hotel if you wanted spa break predominantly I complained to spa manager on our return as felt too awkward on the day and didn't realise the rest of us felt the same until later - she said that all the woman working there were experienced masseuses and was not offered any recompense Such a shame as the spa facilities where fantastic

This hotel has a lot to offer for a family, especially with a 2-year old, like us - the staff were, almost without exception, really friendly and helpful (and sweet towards our toddler); the food was really good and the choice very varied; the pools and outside areas were great; the location is very good, just a short walk away from the lake. Finally, a one-day visit to Verona is very feasible (but book a taxi to Domegliara, for the train on to Verona, rather than to Peschiera del Garda, as the traffic to P del G is heavy)

We had a big issue at check in (fault of the agent NOT the hotel) front of house dealt with this brilliantly and were always incredibly helpful. Rooms very clean and plenty of room. Location great for walking and drives out. We were there during a very hot week and the indoor pools were a godsend. Very nice staff. Especially the efficient and always cheerful cleaners.

We stayed at Hotel Caesius for 5 nights as a family (two adults and a toddler) and had a really lovely stay. It's location is perfect, right on the lake and within an easy walk to restaurants, bars and Bardolino. The hotel is great for toddlers with multiple pools, an outdoor playground and a massive children's menu. The indoor playroom looked a quite dark and sorry for itself but because the weather was lovely we didn't really need to use it. It's location on the lake was great for lake swimming and it's also within walking distance of another playground with swings etc. Our room was massive, clean and really comfortable. The balcony overlooking the gardens was a lovely added bonus too. My only criticism about the facilities was the lack of drinking water fountains so we were having to constantly buy bottled water. It was also be handy if the gym opened up a bit earlier in the morning. We chose the half board option; Breakfast was delicious - an amazing buffet with loads of choice. Dinner was also delicious (the salad bar and desert choices were amazing) but because we were half board we only had 3 choices each evening. The children's menu was vast though. We loved eating outside but found sitting in the restaurant quite stuffy and old-fashioned. All the staff were so friendly, kind and helpful, especially with our daughter, and made our stay feel even more special. Overall we loved our holiday and would definitely recommend it to other families.
