The location of the hotel is very good. The corner is opposite the main commercial street in the center of Barcelona. The building facade and the public lobby on the ground floor are decorated in a modern atmosphere. Breakfast is very rich, this is the best I have had in the same grade abroad, and the waiter attitude is good, the front desk waiter attitude is also good. The room is considered to be a bit larger. The only room that is not perfect is a little stuffy, and the price is a bit high. Overall the location and breakfast were great.

We were very pleased with the central location, modern amenities and gracious staff at The Monument Hotel. Situated within an easy walk to some of Gaudi’s most impressive buildings, fine shopping and dining with its own Michelin restaurant on premises, there wasn’t much to be desired in this boutique hotel, save for some minor details. In our case, although we arrived on an early flight and we’re aware check in was not until 3 as we’d been informed when I placed my reservation noting our arrival time - and the concierge agreeably stored our luggage as we took in local sights - we were notified while having lunch a room with a better view would not be available until 5 pm. We decided to wait for that option and made use of the rooftop pool lounges for a late afternoon siesta. Shortly after 5, I went to reception and was informed the room was ready. While adequate in terms of space - with a small sitting area adjacent to the sleeping area - I can’t say there was a view per se as it basically looked over rooftops, perhaps what could be devastating a small courtyard. The bat was actually quite large in comparison but for some reason of design I don’t understand there was a step to the commode area - causing some stumbles during the middle of the night until we were properly acclimated. As I like to tune into the news in the morning while dressing, I mentioned the TV remote in the bed area was not working, however, this was not addressed during our stay. Relatively minor issues all in all in an otherwise comfortable and safe 3 day stay.

I stayed for three days in a row. The room was very new. I initially booked a room with a terrace. It was a bit too small to accommodate my several large suitcases. After a short communication, I changed to a suite. The window of the suite is only facing the street late. On weekends, there are always people shouting and there will be some noise. We recently stayed at the Majestic Barcelona. It was everything that one would expect of a five star hotel. The location is great - walking distance from many of the city's best attractions and restaurants. It also has a great rooftop bar that overlooks the city. The fine dining restaurant at the hotel is also very good, and we had an excellent dinner there. We did, however, have a problem with one aspect of the hotel. They advertise tours which are described in great detail on the hotel website. The problem is that as of our visit the website had not been updated post-Covid and the description of the very expensive tour that we booked was inaccurate and we did not what was advertised. After a lot of arguing on our part, and after initial push back by the hotel's management, the finally made things right. All's well that ends well, but it did put a tinge on an otherwise wonderful stay.

When first booking our trip to Barcelona, it was a little overwhelming the amount of properties one could choose from. After a bit of review and consideration we decided on the Hotel Olivia Balmes. We were most interested in finding a hotel that was centrally located, emphasized comfort and cleanliness, & had in room central air conditioning (given our late summer travel). The hotel hit top marks in all. We also used the pool and ate breakfast which were both excellent. I would not hesitate to book a stay here. The front desk staff were also very kind and available 24 hours a day.

Calling it a swimming pool is a lie, feel ripped off. When you select a hotel with a swimming pool, the prices went up by £300-400 for our stay, so a hefty increase, but they didn't have one. It was 1 foot deep, that's not a pool, if you can't swim in it then it's a glorified puddle. Breakfast was vile, only edible part was the croissants, which seems pricey for £9 per day. Bed was relatively cosy, but on wheels and made so much noise any time either of us moved in the slightest. There was a buzzing sound that went off from the fan every 5 seconds, not too bad during the day, but when you're trying to sleep then it was a nightmare. The staff were friendly at reception, the bright spark that kept us from going elsewhere as we were really tempted. Wouldn't book again.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel: I stayed here 17 years ago in my first visit to Barcelona although I could not remember much of my experience then. I decided to stay at the Hotel Royal Ramblas in my second visit to Barcelona for 5 nights in September 2022 because of its good location. I must say its location on La Rambla is excellent and exceptional. It is close to many popular tourist attractions, it's just a few minutes walk to Plaza Catalunya metro station, and bus stops at Plaza Catalunya for the hop on hop off buses. Port Veil and the beach are within walking distance. The room we got on the Planta Royal (just one floor above the breakfast restaurant) was comfortable and clean. Although the room is facing La rambla it is extremely quiet during the night. The wifi was fast, the shower was great and the aircon was so quiet and effective. The breakfast was excelent throughout our stay and the staff at the reception were very helpful and freindly. I will definitely recommend this hotel for visitors to Barcelona. One complaint I would like to make is that for a four star hotel, there isn't any tissue paper in the room. I have to buy one box of tissue papers from Carrefour nearby. But in my opinion Hotel Royal Ramblas is an excellent hotel and I would stay there agin in my next visit.

Where do I start we simply loved everything about our stay at the edition. We stayed here April 18th - 21st and the staff specifically the concierge, night bell man on the 18th and front desk were beyond helpful and accommodating. I unfortunately lost the card with their names but those three guys helped my mom and I tremendously - from recommendations, transportations and other tidbits which made our stay very special. Lou Lou on the rooftop was exceptional and actually would remember our morning order which added that extra touch of personalization and guest service. Lisa I believe was her name at the rooftop bar (evening) was also fabulous. The Edition hotel is one of my favorite luxury boutique hotels and the Barcelona one didn’t disappoint - the rooms were gorgeous, clean and well appointed. The rooftop had breath taking views and the bar on the 1st floor was great for a nightcap. On top of the service, great rooms the hotel was in an exceptional location which made exploring super easy! We spent three days here and then moved to the W and it was nowhere near the level of luxury service - quite frankly we regretted having not stayed at the Edition for our entire stay!

The location of the hotel is very touching. It is right on Thanksgiving Avenue. You can go shopping and eat just downstairs. It is very convenient and saves transportation costs... Although the room is small, it has everything it needs. The wet and dry areas are separated. It is very user-friendly and the most surprising thing. The sound insulation is very good, the bed is comfortable, and the sleeping environment is great 👍The front desk is also worthy of praise. Every day when I come back from going out, I greet you with a smile and happily, which is very nice. When I left, I helped book taxi and delivered it to the car. It is worth recommending to those who like shopping. beauties 😄

My husband and I loved this property. We have stayed at other H10 hotels in Europe and also loved them, so we were pleased with the consistency. We would absolutely stay here again! FRONT DESK - Very kind and professional. Offered a glass of cava and water upon arrival even though our room was not quite ready. ROOM - We stayed in a Deluxe Garden room. This might have been my favorite part of our stay. There was a nook with a desk and two little doors that opened to face the hotel’s courtyard with views of La Pedrera. Magical. The room was spacious and bright. AC, shower, and wi-fi all worked great. Nespresso machine in room was useful. Robe and slippers were a nice touch. LOCATION - Located in Eixample right off of Passeig de Gràcia. Super convenient for shopping + Gaudí sightseeing. In the area, we enjoyed coffee from Good News and tapas for dinner from a cozy local spot called Lo Pinyol. AMENITIES - There are multiple pools, a lovely garden courtyard for having a drink, tapas, and/or working, and a really striking rooftop bar area with views of La Pedrera. The common spaces made it hard to want to leave the hotel at times.

This hotel is AMAZING. I had a fantastic experience there. The location is the best, in the middle of Casa Mila. Close to all I needed and 70 meters from the metro station. The room is so spacious and clean and designed perfect. The team was so attentive and allowed me to stay two hours after the check out because I had some problem. So definitely had amazing experience there and for sure I would love to go back when I’ll be in Barcelona again! Highly recommended!

Our stay at the Suites Avenue hotel was excellent in every way. The apartments are modern, clean, spacious, well-equipped and very comfortable. The hotel staff members were all courteous, competent, efficient and ready to assist when needed. The location is also excellent -- on a beautiful, tree-lined street among upscale shops, lively during the day but quiet at night and we felt safe there at all times. The hotel is very close to La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. Also nearby is a taxi stand, two metro stations, bus stops for city buses and hop-on-hop-off buses. We took the metro to Sagrada Familia and to Parc Guell, then walked back from both. The Placa Catalunya was a 20 minute walk. Alternatively, we strolled down La Rambla from the upper part a block from the hotel, down through the busy section, to the waterfront in 40 easy minutes, passing many restaurants along the way. Barcelona itself was beautiful, sunny and hot and the hotel was a wonderful place to stop in for a break from the heat and to come ”home” to at the end of the day. I wholeheartedly recommend the Suites Avenue and would definitely stay there again.

Location level praise~ Feel the sense of the century, the lobby, the room are very sense ~ service is very good, help set the round trip ticket to la roca, very nice ~ Although breakfast is basically the same every day, it is enough, you can go to the room to eat. Overall living is very comfortable! Super recommended ~ Oh, it seems that there is no toiletries, remember to bring ~

The first thing to ask when booking for a room of 2 or 3 people ... Room NUMBER 16 , a chic private terrace. 50 mt from Diagonal metro and 100 mt from Rambla. Super friendly and very available staff , suitable room size and with the ”kit” breakfast . Frigobar. Comfortable beds even if not matrimonial but two united beds ... little bad price exceptional quality ratio.
