This was a very well located property - right at the Ramblas. Very close to a lot of places to eat, shop, and walkable to most attractions. The subway stop was right in front of the hotel to commute to places (incl to get a bus to the airport from a stop on this subway line). The staff at the reception were very nice, kind, and helpful. The rooms were clean and well equipped for a comfortable stay. The only thing is that the room might be small if there are 2 travelers in this room.

What an amazing surprise this place was! After a terrible experience with a 2 star hotel in Paris, I was blown away by the service, the cleanliness and the location. Couldn't have asked for better for my 2 night stay in Barcelona. Do be aware the metro runs right underneath so bring earplugs. But otherwise it's brilliant value for money and very well run.
Traveling solo, I was drawn to this hotel's location on a lively street. There are plenty of shops nearby, including supermarkets, and many restaurants. The metro is close by, and it's a convenient walk to the attractions in the old town. I was really pleased that my room had a fridge, and there was also drinking water available on each floor. Breakfast was average – not very varied, but it had all the essentials. The main issue was the noise isolation – in my room, I could feel the subway trains passing by (or something similar), and I could hear voices from the next room.
Great hotel to be close to Cataluna Center as I wanted to take the blue bus back to the airport .
Clean well partition room and bathroom spaces with added perk of balcony seating. Hotel was so nice to keep my luggage.
Great perk to provide complimentary cava sparkling wine and coffee Nespresso machine capsules.
The hotel was much better than we expected. Simple, clean room that did the job and had a great view (room was booked with terrace). We found that the hotel was in a good location within walking distance to metro stations, the beach, the main plaza and situated in the heart of La Rambla. Noise wasn’t an issue for us as we were on the second to top floor. There was always someone on reception from day to night - we had a problem with our flush and someone came into our room to fix it within 20 minutes.
The hotel's breakfast is very good, the price of 8 euros is very cost-effective, living on the busiest Las Ramblas. The transportation is even more convenient, you can go to any famous attractions you want.
Hotel staff very friendly, rooms very cosy and modern - we stayed in a new comfort room. The location of the hotel was perfect, a short walk away from the Aerobus stop which connects to the airport, and La Ramblas was right in the centre of all we needed!
Hotel in itself was very clean and modern, did offer “filtered water” on each level which was a nice touch, and very eco-friendly. All rooms accessible via key code, so was great not having to use a key to enter the room. The hotel was under renovation, which did cause some disruption to our stay - early morning wake-up’s from the drilling, banging and constant work being done early in the morning which wasn’t great when trying to have a relaxing lie-in!
Had a great stay at H1898. Hotel is very centrally located and in a busy street of La Rambla. Bus stations and metro very close which was also a plus. Hotel was beautiful and very clean. My room was cleaned very well every day for which a big thank you to the lady who left my room tidy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would especially like to thank Laia and Iris from the reception for all the possible and good care! Big thank you dear Laia and Iris. A definitely recommended hotel. If I ever go back to Barcelona I would book here again without thinking!
When I made the reservation, I wanted a single room because I was alone, but the single rooms were sold out, so I booked a double room. However, after the reservation was confirmed, I received a confirmation email for a single room reservation instead of a double room. Since there was a bathtub, the room rate for the double room was higher than that of the single room, but I decided to make the reservation.
I think it was a bad idea not to check when I made the reservation, thinking that there might have been a cancellation for the single room. I thought that even the single room would have a bathtub.
The actual hotel was a single room with only a shower and no bathtub. I thought that since it was a double room, there would be a bathtub and no single room... but I just thought that. However, since there were no single rooms available, I booked a double room and paid the double price, so I would like the difference between the single room and the single room to be refunded. If there was at least a bathtub, I would not want the difference to be refunded.
When I entered the room, there was a large cockroach in the shower room. I happened to greet the cleaning lady on the floor, and since I had just entered the room, I hoped that the lady was still on the floor, and when I looked for her, she was cleaning another room. I was surprised and asked, ”Really?”, but she wasn't lying... She immediately got rid of it and disinfected it. Normally, there would have been no bathtub and there would have been a large cockroach in there, so I would have asked to change rooms, but I had to leave my luggage and go out (I had a reservation for a specific date and time), so I stayed for four nights.
I noticed after I got back home that the reservation confirmation said that even the single rooms had a bathtub. What? Which one? I don't know if that's correct.
The staff were all nice, and I didn't have time, so I didn't complain. In the future, I intend to check with the hotel myself in advance. This incident has made me a little distrustful of the operation and management of this site.

Amazing
CcuidoudouThe hotel boasts a prime location with convenient transportation. Airport buses are directly accessible, and the metro and bus stops are just steps away. To the north, Casa Batlló and Casa Milà are within walking distance, while Plaça Catalunya is to the south. The Gothic Cathedral, the Kissing Wall, the Picasso Museum, Boqueria Market, and the Columbus Monument are all within walking distance. Numerous restaurants are nearby, making dining convenient. The rooms are small but clean, tidy, and comfortable, with a mini-fridge. Chocolate and soda water were provided on the first day. Complimentary bottled water is provided daily. The bathroom is spacious, with bathrobes and slippers provided. The room heating is comfortable. There's a subtle fragrance in the room, which I really appreciated. The rooms and bathrooms are well-lit. Although facing the street, the soundproofing is good. Every morning, I open the balcony door and watch the sunrise from the small balcony, starting my day beautifully. The breakfast is good. The front desk and restaurant staff are warm and polite. The lobby and restaurant have a stylish and unique decor.
TThansita AkkrabunyapathHotel located in the city center of Ramblas, walking street for shopping, food, theather, market. There’s Carefour supermarket in the opposite, you can find everything in there. We are very satisfy with the room, good view, full of kitchenware which we can enjoy our meals😊
We stayed in 7th floor, we see all gothic scenery just in our room 👍🏻
GGuest UserWhat I liked: Location, staff (cheerful and friendly), cleanliness of the room.
What I didn't like: When going to each floor, I had to wait a few seconds for the classical door to open (a bit of a hassle).
Soundproofing (I couldn't sleep because I could hear loud conversations from the next room or in the hallway. This is unavoidable given the building's age.)
What I didn't like: Free food and drinks 24 hours a day (there were some tasty breakfast items, but they were pricey).
For all the above, those looking for a four-star or higher hotel may be disappointed, but those looking for value for money or just a good night's sleep will likely be very satisfied.
GGuest UserI stayed at Aparthotel Rambla 108 for five nights, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of La Rambla, making it super convenient to explore all the nearby attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, quickly handling any requests we had. Our one-bedroom apartment was clean and well-equipped, with a kitchen that had everything we needed. There was a faint sound of the train passing by, but it wasn’t bothersome at all. My family and I were thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and central stay in Barcelona.
XXINThe location of this hotel is impeccable, but the room equipment is a bit old. When I checked in, I found that the floor-to-ceiling windows of the room could not be closed. The water leaking under the bathroom basin immediately notified the incident with the front desk. It took more than 5 hours to come to the person. After repairing, I barely repaired it. After two days, the bathroom leaked. When I left, there was no one at the front desk. I waited for about half an hour after the bell, and some people slowly came out from it. Feel the price of this hotel and this low quality service is really not right. In addition to the location is good, the other is very general. The price is not high.
DdariaRooms was just okay, very basic beds and pillows the beds are individual and seems like old mattress so even they put two together it is not like double bed because it's different levels, bathroom missing to be more sanitize.
Location it's good but can hear all the las ramblas ambiance which is very noisy.
The attention service was good.
MMianne AngThe location is good near Ramblas and eateries. The Pakistan food next to hotel is nice and staff is friendly. The room is very small for 3 and there is no kettle and mineral water provided. Triple room should provide bigger room
