Mercer House Boria

Great place to stay We felt as if we were living in amongst a Barcelona community. The accommodation were clean and spacious, we are from Canada and are used to “North American sizes”. There was no living room but in the picture when we booked there was so we were a little disappointed about that but we would still stay here every time we visit Barcelona, it is in a perfect location, so close to everything you can walk.

Martin was an amazing host. He was always welcoming and super helpful with advice for where to go to dinner and where to head out to for a great night out. Thanks Martin!!

Rude manager, dimly lit room and not functional. Rude check in experience from the manager to get our trip off on a bad start. Our booking was incorrect with only 2 persons booked in a 5 person room. (Our 3 kids were not on the original reservation.) In front of other guests, the manager was very rude and aggressive toward us. We were charged for the additional people which I am fine with. However, it was not explained or done in a professional manner. All other hotel staff were more than friendly. Picture of the reservation did not match the room type or configuration. Not a big deal, but the room was not in the layout expected. Furniture in the room is too big for the space. Drawers do not open all the way and it is cramped with limited functionality. Room is poorly lit and difficult to see. There are stairs in the middle of the hallway which are tall and quite dangerous as they are central and not clearly marked.
