Hotel Midmost by Majestic Hotel Group

I have no idea how this hotel got its 4-star rating. The lobby is basically just for show, and the front desk staff are unprofessional. When I asked for ice from room service, they told me to go get it myself from the rooftop bar. Not to mention, the room smelled musty (it's an old renovated building, and the hotel clearly doesn't maintain it well) 😓. Housekeeping knocked on our door before 8:30 AM! We just got back to Barcelona from Madrid – don't I get to sleep in? Is knocking at 8:30 AM even reasonable?! And the cleaning wasn't even thorough; they didn't vacuum the carpet, didn't wipe the sink, and left dirty cups right there. Am I supposed to wash them myself? In short, it's not worth the money. For over 3000 for two nights, there are plenty of other hotels nearby that look much better. At least their lobbies are actual lobbies, unlike this place where they treat guests like absolute fools, trying to squeeze every penny out of them. Ctrip should seriously blacklist this hotel.

Excellent service and a fantastic location! Everything was clean. Great value for money. Thank you so much for your hospitality at the hotel! We'll be back.
