Hotel Ciutadella Barcelona

The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were very friendly. The location is excellent, right next to the station, and close to Sagrada Familia, the castle park, and the beach – all just a short walk away.

Make sure your hotel room has a window. The environment is excellent, no complaints there. The price is reasonable, but the 16-euro breakfast isn't worth it. However, the location is fantastic, hitting the sweet spot between the old town and the beach. It's a reasonable distance to get to both!

I've recommended this hotel to several people. I stayed in a single room, but it wasn't small at all, and the breakfast was quite good. There's a city tax of 6.21 Euros per person per night. The hotel's location is also great; it's about 2km walking distance to Sagrada Familia, Passeig de Gràcia, the beach, or Arc de Triomf, which is pretty convenient.

The service was really good, and there's a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk! That's a huge plus.

The room is small but charming. The curtains and windows have a nice vintage feel. Even though it's close to the road, the soundproofing is good. Some of the staff speak Chinese, which is a plus. It's very close to the beach and not too far from the city center. There's also a train station right next door. Overall, I'm satisfied and this is my second time staying here. The off-season prices are great too.

The hotel room was small and dark. The air conditioning blew directly onto the bed and the temperature couldn't be adjusted, so it was really cold. I booked this two months in advance for over 2000 a night, only to find out it was several hundred more expensive than checking in on the day itself. Definitely not worth the price.
