The showers was not cleaned when we arrived but all other days they where nice and clean. Could be good to bring some flip flops. Nice refridgerator. I didn’t use the kitchen to cook. They just had a sponge to clean your dishes with which was kind of groose, I would have wanted a regular dishbrush. The walls is thin so you hear your neighbours much, earplugs was a must for me. This was the most negative about the hostel for me. But The staff helped to say to other guests if they where to loud. Nice and comfortable beds. Nice with big lockers/storage in your room. Really kind and helpful staff. Nice rooftoop to sit and eat your breakfast. It is a local tax you have to pay when you check im, 20 euros for me and my friend for 4 nights. Good location. Close to several supermarkets, restaurants, bars, metro and bus stops and we also walked from the hostel to some sightseeing things to save some money. Easy to get to the airport.

a TERRIFYING stay avoid at all costs!!!! We booked this hostel months before our trip as somewhere to stay for the festival as everywhere else was booked up. We thought is looked funny as the theme was weird and unique but oh my god it's like a prison in the rooms. We booked a room to fit all 7 of us girls in so we would feel safe all together, but as soon as we arrived we were met with RUDE staff who told us we would be split up. They were not understanding at all and set a tone for the rest of the stay. The mixed room a few of us were put in was TINY and was meant to fit 8 people, and the air con would only work for 15 mins then would turn itself off which meant it was an airless sauna as the windows didn't open either. One of our friends who was split up from us, in the other room, faced a terrifying incident where a drunk man climbed into her bed and tried to attack her in the middle of the night as the room was overbooked. When we went to reception they wouldn't even kick the man out and gave our friend no alternative place to stay so she had to sleep on a chair in reception. The man eventually got kicked out after they found him trying the same thing AGAIN. The staff were unsympathetic and couldn't care less. Our friends had to squeeze in the single beds with us the following nights which is not what we paid for. the female staff whispered about you in front of you I have NEVER experienced a place like it. SO UNSAFE so scary. Avoid at all costs it's not worth it.

One of the few hostels where I felt at home, the guys who work there are super cordial and friendly, the environment is very clean, a lady comes every day to clean the common areas. It has a fully equipped kitchen and offers free compartments where everyone can use. TV, console, hairdryer and tablecloths available to everyone!! Very cheap laundry service at a low price! Highly recommended!

This hotel doesn’t have a lot of charm, but it is a clean, quiet, relatively (for Barcelona) cheap place to stay. No frills, just the basics, but comfortable enough. It is kind of far from the center of town but close to a lot of public transportation which is super convenient. I stayed here as a step up from a hostel and felt like queen is the castle.

No breakfast provided, great location just a few minutes away from the main commercial street, no parking, it should be suitable for children with no idea if an extra bed is available. There is a water heater to provide free hot water. Simple, clean and cost-effective! I will choose this hotel again when I go to Barcelona, great value!

As soon as we arrive at the hostel we try to enter the reservation code rivuto via email. The door did not open. An hour and a half to try the code. We phoned the Emergency number (useless) as there was no answering machine. We sent several emails (never answered). We called the police in desperation as well. Fortunately for us, a college boy walked into the hostel and we were able to get inside. Another complication is the automatic check-in. He didn't even give me the receipt to understand the assigned room. Fortunately I had taken a photo as a prevention in which there was the number of the chamber written (another nightmare) by the automatic machine. Speaking of the room I would say small, stained sheets and pillow cases. Non-adjustable heating. External noise as there is no double glazing. Windows with broken glass. Remote control with scoth on the back. 2p minutes that had arrived in the room we were left in the dark because there was no light. Twice. The small bathroom and the hair dryer after 5 minutes overheated and where to wait to reuse it (nightmare). A bathroom spotlight was missing and it was very bad to shave or put on make-up, and there is no cleaning service on Sundays. In short, horrible experience.
