Hotels with Bars in Metropolitan City of Bologna

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel this past July for almost a week with the recommendation of Enrique. When I first arrived along with my husband, the people at the front of the door helped open the door. Checking in was very smooth with the help of the manager in the front (Laura). We were easily checked in and escorted upstairs to our room within a matter of minutes. Room was great with a nice patio overlooking a section of the Arno River. The location of the hotel is very nice as it is walking distance to the River. I even walked there during sunset hour. It is beautiful. My favorite part of the hotel was the breakfast buffet. In my opinion, it is better than the ones in America. The food was delicious. It was nice to try the coffee with their coffee machines. Might I add, not all hotels offer a juicer. While traveling, it can be hard to stay healthy so that juicer was very nice. The room was well air conditioned. It was well kept. The housekeeping lady did an amazing job keeping the room tidy. It was nice coming back to a cool room. Also, I forget the name of the young lady bartender... she was very nice and accommodating. The front desk even helped call the taxis when necessary since we're not from there. The lobby was also a nice place just to relax and cool down while waiting for a ride or just lounging. Would definitely recommend staying here and coming back again.

The hotel is in a good location if you want to be close to Bologna central railway station and the airport. The walk to the old town isn’t so far and you pass many nice things along the way. The area is safe and I walked back to the hotel after dark along the main thoroughfare and had no issues. The room was quite small but it’s enough for one person. The staff were friendly and I was able to store my bag. The only issue I had was the lack of air conditioning. The unit was present in the room but it was impossible to turn on due to it being April. Generally it wasn’t bad but the room was particularly stuffy in the morning and evening so it wasn’t so comfortable for sleeping. I understand that it’s April and it’s considered too early to turn on the air conditioning but it’s actually turned on in the lobby for the staff. So by that logic, it should be turned on in the rooms also. After living and traveling in Asia for many years it’s disappointing to see Italian hotels being stingy with money - especially considering the guests have paid money. It’s a shame because besides this I liked the hotel and the staff. I hope the savings made by turning off the air conditioning are worth it.

We only stayed at Ostello Bello Bologna for one night, but everything was really great! The room itself was quite spacious, with a large bathroom. It was clean, and there were three sets of towels and fresh linens provided. The hotel's location was super convenient! We arrived at the train station from the airport and reached the hotel in a short amount of time. The neighborhood felt very pleasant, and even when returning late at night, we had no safety concerns whatsoever. We absolutely loved the service at the reception! The lady from Finland was incredibly friendly and communicative! Her positive attitude made an excellent first impression. We also tried the complimentary welcome cocktails, and they were super! I'd also like to mention that the hotel itself is very stylish and clean. I particularly liked the common lounge area with a terrace, where you can relax away from the city's hustle and bustle. All in all, I recommend it 100 percent – you definitely won't regret it!

The hostel is quite good with excellent facilities and also very friendly staffs at the reception. However I faced issues while trying to buy coffee early morning where morning staff refused to give me coffee because it was not 7am (they start their operations at 7). I asked if they can just give me a tea bag, as I needed something to drink before going for my morning run, but still refused. This was annoying as all he just to do was pick on tea bag and give it to me!

The hostel is about a 20-30 minute walk from the center. It's best to get a room at the back, as it's on a street. Overall, it's very clean. However, towels are not included in the price; they cost €7 for two. Bed linen is free, but the beds aren't made, unlike other hostels. A lockable locker is available; you can get a key on-site. Behind the building is a large parking lot, which is officially prohibited or subject to a fee. I parked there for two nights for free. There are also parking spaces on the street, but these are subject to a fee during the day.

Stayed here for one night during the Bologna Marathon and overall it was a solid choice. The location is spot on, right in the heart of the city, easy to get to the start line without any stress on race morning. The marathon atmosphere around the hotel was genuinely fun

Good location and the room is very nice. It is just located opposite to the train station. Highly recommend for a stay. The service is very good too.

The environment is very good and the breakfast is also rich. The service attitude is warm, free parking, and it is very convenient to the exhibition. It takes more than 10 minutes to drive. There is a supermarket nearby. I will choose here again on my next business trip.

Although the hotel isn't in the city center, it's not too far away. It has free parking, which is great for those traveling by car. If you turn left when you exit the hotel, there's a large Extracoop, making shopping very convenient.

The location is very good in the center of the old city. It is very close to the art gallery. The breakfast is good. The room is slightly smaller but quiet and comfortable. What do you want in the coffee shop restaurant milk tea shop around? It is very suitable for a day or two.
