"What I love: Next to Lumine and Tobu departmental stores Kombini within hands reach Within 400m from Ikebukuro Metro Very committed staff, fantastic hospitality Rooms are clean & modern Breakfast buffet was pretty extensive What I do not love: Thin walls - no insulation from corridoor noise Smoking floors - although mine was a non-smoking room, I was initially checked into a smoking floor (bad smell lingered at the lift landing and corridor, to my horror), which I had then requested a change of rooms because the a/c blew out musky compromised air, and so my request for a change of rooms was done immediately without hesitation by the front desk. Avoid level 6 because that’s the smoking floor."

"The hotel is very grand, featuring a spacious, elegantly decorated lobby with a distinctive centerpiece of purple-pink cockscomb flowers. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted by staff who took our luggage, escorted us to the front desk for check-in, and then delivered our bags to our room. The front desk staff were highly efficient, making both check-in and check-out incredibly fast. We had booked a room in the tower and were pleasantly surprised to be assigned a high-floor room with views of the Imperial Palace. Even though there's an elevated light rail line directly below with trains continuously passing, we only perceived minimal noise. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The buffet breakfast is served on the 17th floor, the top floor of the main building. While the selection wasn't extensive, it more than made up for it with delicious food, excellent service, and superb views. The hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance of Hibiya Park, the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Station, and Ginza. It's also about a 10-minute walk from the nearest subway station, which was perfect for a post-dinner stroll to digest. We had a truly delightful stay."

"The hotel was very clean, and the service of staff was excellent especially up at the rooftop bar. Facilities wise the only thing I could fault them on was only having 2 washer/dryer machines. It a big hotel with a lot of guests so managing to use the washing/drying machines was hard work. Location although quiet it was not the best having to walk through the ********* ******** practically every time you were heading back from the train station area. In the end I began walking right around to avoid the constant hassle from the touts. Views from the rooftop bar were outstanding."

"Staying at a 5-star hotel in Tokyo for just over 800 [currency implied], with rooms exceeding 20 square meters, truly offers exceptional value for money. The breakfast spread is incredibly extensive and delicious. This has essentially become our go-to hotel whenever we're in Tokyo; my wife has even declared that this is where we'll be staying exclusively from now on! The entire Toyosu district feels very new and modern, and it's conveniently located right opposite the Senkyakubanrai complex."

"It's been a week since I returned from Tokyo, and I finally have time to sit down and write a review for this hotel. Let's start with the pros: 1. The location is generally good, though not as 'super unbeatable' as some reviews claim. Perhaps because it happened to be raining that day, and my phone's navigation wasn't very reliable, we ended up circling Shinjuku Station multiple times and it took us at least 30 minutes to find the hotel. Actually, if you exit Shinjuku South Gate and turn right, walk about 200 meters down a slight slope (it was slippery in the rain, a bit tough on shoes), then turn left after Wendy's, go straight until you see a FamilyMart, and the hotel is right across from it. The whole walk should take about 5 minutes. The hotel is conveniently located next to a subway entrance, making transportation very easy. Shinjuku Station's 3rd floor houses the express bus terminal, where you can find self-service ticketing machines with Chinese language options. A 1500 JPY ticket takes you directly to Haneda Airport. Shinjuku truly has everything you could ask for. Within a kilometer of the hotel, you'll find plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. Kabukicho isn't too far either. It gets very crowded at night, and it's easy to get lost. Within 200 meters of the hotel, there's a McDonald's and a sports store. There's also a FamilyMart across the street, though you need to walk a bit further and cross a pedestrian crossing. Surprisingly, this particular FamilyMart doesn't sell stamps! 2. Conveniently, there's a shuttle bus service to and from Narita and Haneda airports right downstairs. However, just to be safe, I still opted to drag my luggage to the main bus terminal to catch my ride. 3. The staff members were generally very enthusiastic and helpful. In particular, a slightly overweight gentleman with glasses at check-out proactively assisted me with luggage storage and the self check-out process. The only exception was the young lady who handled my check-in; her speech was quite fast, giving the impression she was a bit rushed. 4. The lobby offered a wide array of complimentary self-service amenities, including makeup remover, facial cleanser, toner, lotion, toothpaste and toothbrushes, hair ties, razors, and cotton pads, as well as tea bags and coffee. These items pretty much covered all daily skincare needs, which was incredibly convenient. The facial cleanser, in particular, was quite good. 5. Although the room was small, it was well-equipped. Upon check-in, the front desk assigned me to the top floor, the 14th. The card-key access for the elevator provided an added sense of security. From the window, I could see the Don Quijote store in the distance, though it wasn't noticeable at night. In the daytime, I noticed the building opposite had rooftop exhaust fans – fortunately, the soundproofing was excellent, and I couldn't hear any noise from them inside the room. My favorite part was the air conditioning. Every day, after returning hot and tired, I'd set the temperature to 20 degrees Celsius and maximum fan speed, and the entire room would cool down in less than ten minutes. In the mornings, I'd hang out the 'Please clean' sign, and upon my return, the room would be spotless. However, the corridor was a bit winding, requiring two turns to reach my room. There was a laundry room next to the elevator, although I didn't use it. The pillows were very comfortable; I slept soundly both nights. Of course, there are a few areas for improvement: 1. The young lady at the front desk during check-in wore a mask and spoke English quite quickly, giving the impression that she wanted to finish up quickly. It would have been better if guests could see a genuine smile. 2. The round mirror in the room faced directly towards the bed, which felt a bit unsettling. I hope the hotel can consider the cultural sensitivities of Chinese guests. 3. The toothbrush provided was really subpar; the bristles were too hard, and I actually made my gums bleed while brushing. Overall, this hotel is still quite good and will be on my list for future stays."

MM61793****It was great to have a Chinese staff member at the front desk; she made us feel very welcome and provided excellent service. The restaurant and bar are on the ground floor, and all the servers there speak excellent English. Breakfast is also served here, and I'd highly recommend it, especially if you enjoy a Western-style breakfast.

AAnonymous UserFor my six-day, five-night trip to Japan, I took the orange Keisei Narita Sky Access from Narita Airport Terminal 2. I waited on Platform 7, and it took me directly to Asakusa with no transfers required. This hotel, where I stayed for the first two nights with one adult and one child, cost 550 a night. It was significantly better than the ICI hotel I stayed at for the following three nights, which cost over 1000 a night. For our stay, the first night was a standard double room, and the second was a premium double. The 'premium' upgrade featured a wet/dry bathroom separation, with separate doors for the toilet and shower. First off, the location is excellent. From subway exit A3, turn right and walk for about 900 meters. Asakusa Temple is conveniently located along the route, perfect for a visit the next day, and you can even catch a glimpse of the Skytree at night. Secondly, the room facilities are quite good. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the large TV was a pleasant surprise for a 13-square-meter room. On the downside, dining options directly around the hotel are scarce; you'll need to walk closer to Asakusa Station for restaurants. Additionally, Uniqlo and Don Quijote are both over a kilometer away. However, for serious shopping, it's still quite manageable. It's worth noting that Japanese hotel rooms are notoriously small; they've truly mastered compact design. I didn't take any pictures, but for this price range in Tokyo, the room offers genuinely excellent value. If you're planning to stay in Asakusa, this hotel is a no-brainer.

QQingjieleFacilities: The facilities are all brand new, and I absolutely adored the design and decor! The main entrance is also beautiful. I genuinely love this hotel and highly recommend it! It's truly rare for me to be so impressed by a hotel's color scheme, but this one won me over completely. Service: The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Environment: The room was surprisingly spacious, much larger than I had imagined, and incredibly comfortable. The king-sized bed was amazing! Hygiene: Absolutely spotless; I found no issues with cleanliness at all. Only drawback: My only minor complaint was that my room faced the road, which made it a bit noisy. If you're sensitive to sound, you might want to request a room on a quieter side of the building.

VVirginiaI'll start off with the positives and there were a lot! The hotel is located next to the train station which is huge for easily getting around town. There are several 7 elevens on premises so that was nice after long days or just needing to grab a snack. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and they brought us two bottles of complimentary champagne which was so nice. The hotel staff was wonderful and everyone was super friendly. Now the hotel itself needs a remodel the interior in the rooms were not 5 star rooms they badly need to be updated. The bed frames were all frayed and the walls were badly marked up but it was very clean. It was a little weird that it was an additional Charge to use the pool? I've never seen that before and thought it was sort of absurd. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and I hope they remodel soon because I'd love everything about this hotel if they would just bring their rooms up to 5 star quality.

SSometravelbuddie⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had the absolute pleasure of staying at **Prince Hotel Shinjuku, Japan**, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel’s location is simply perfect — situated right in the heart of Shinjuku, it offers easy access to shopping areas, dining, entertainment, and most importantly, convenient transportation links that make exploring Tokyo effortless. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, who were always courteous, professional, and attentive to every detail. Their hospitality truly made me feel valued and well taken care of throughout my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed for both comfort and functionality. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights after long days of exploring. I also appreciated the modern amenities, including fast Wi-Fi, excellent air conditioning, and a well-equipped bathroom. The housekeeping team deserves praise for maintaining everything in pristine condition daily. What truly stood out was the variety of facilities and services. The hotel offers excellent dining options with delicious food, and breakfast was always a highlight, featuring both Japanese and international selections. The atmosphere throughout the property was elegant yet relaxing, making it a great place to unwind. I also felt very safe and secure within the hotel, which is always an important factor when traveling abroad. Every aspect of the service was seamless — from check-in and check-out to assistance with directions and local recommendations. Overall, **Prince Hotel Shinjuku exceeded my expectations** in every possible way. It’s a perfect choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and top-notch hospitality in Tokyo. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Japan and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip.

VValhahaxGreat stay at YOTEL! Pretty clean and well furnish maybe it’s due to the fact that it’s new as well!! Love the fact that it is not a carpeted floor too 👍🏼 the room is small so if you have more than 2 luggage to open at the same time will be a hassle:/ toothbrush and bath shower gel is provided while the rest is not so come prepared if you need bath cap or razor or etc. honestly the bed is comfortable to sleep in, not too soft or hard !!! Would come back and stay again!

YYu Ting PearlynA lovely hotel that I would stay at again. I booked the bunk bed, which my roommate and I felt really comfortable in. Staff were quite friendly and most understood/could speak English. It says self check-in on the booking page but there was someone present to help us through the check-in process. Note that there's an accommodation tax (900 yen per person) that needs to be paid on check-in. Since we stayed for more than five days, they did full housekeeping (changing bedsheets) for two out of the eight days. However, they also were able to provide fresh towels and clear trash daily (we just put their provided magnetic notice on the door and left the items at the entryway). Showers were small, but amazing. They provide a day's worth of toothpaste, a toothbrush, a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, an electric kettle, a microwave, plates, utensils, cups, scissors, detergent, and two pairs of room slippers. There was an HDTV (with an HDMI port) that we directly connected to Netflix (no need to logout) as well. This hotel is about an 8 minute walk away from Ryogoku station and 11 mins from Asakusa station. If you have a really physical day or have hefty luggage, then this might feel a bit far, but the area generally feels safe, and you get to cross the bridge over the Sumida river to/from Asakusa, which is nice. Other things to note: There is one shared washing machine for the whole hotel that's free to use, and it takes about 2H per wash and tumble dry cycle. There was no quick wash setting. We had to do ours in the wee hours because other guests were quicker to use them in the ”prime” hours (7-9am and 8pm-12mn). A QR code and/or number code is used to unlock your door's digital lock. It's also used for checkout, so save the sheet of paper they issue. Otherwise, remember to take a picture as there's no service staff after a certain time and they will lock the doors to the entrance where the only way to get in is the issued code. Someone pressed the fire alarm accidentally one morning, which brought the fire department, ambulance and police to the hotel and the alert was deafening and heard neighbourhood-wide. Look carefully before you press/lean on a surface - there's no covering on the alarm button, but it is in the centre of a giant red circle. It was an eventful morning but we did not enjoy running down and climbing up 8-storeys worth of stairs (they shut the elevators in emergencies). Overall, a relaxing, cool vibe that feels clean and cozy.

GGuest Userit's inconvenient that the shower room is in the first floor and bathroom is on another floor. so if you wanna take a dump and shower at the same time you have to go to separate floors. i was assigned in the bunk bed, its so hard to climb because lf the ladder. although its really really clean, have spacious beds and lockers, as well as they provide towel unlike others.
