Pastelhouse Hostel

We love this hostel-hotel, not the first time we stop. Very convenient location near Sutthisan metro station blue branch, there are direct buses to central Central World, Siam Paragon, etc (514 and 73), around a lot of 7-11 and all other mini-supermarkets. In the room itself everything is quite modest except bed, air conditioner, teapot and bathroom - nothing. Only some get a desktop or TV, as lucky. But on each floor there is a refrigerator, there are several microwave, you can ask for dishes. Of the pluses - the roof where you can sit by the company, the mussels live(now two, before there was more), there are tables of the type of carpet in the hall. You can take a month directly. Of the downsides - quite a strong hearing, it was necessary to fight with the neighbor, but staff quickly settled the problem. Some bookings include breakfast.

What a pleasant surprise to find this amazing hostel! Great place tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood behind the busy RamaIX district. It’s conveniently located close to the MRT so easy access around the city. But the best part is the friendly staff and family living here. So kind and helpful with everything, especially helping me learn Thai language! I’ve stayed in many hostels around this city and there’s a reason why I keep coming back to Cross Nine Hostel X9. Nice to feel like I have a home while away from home. I’ll certainly be back in the near future.
Double DD House at Mrt Sutthisarn

Nothing to rant about the location and the cleanliness of the room. Easy to locate, use exit 3 at Sutthiusan MRT station. Pop to the surface, left turn. Walk pass the first so-called market street opening on the left. Head forward to the second opening and left turn. The hotel is on the right and will pass by a 7-Eleven on the right hidden by the stalls shelter and umbrella. Don't worry about missing the 7-Eleven, opposite the hotel is a cafe which is on your LHS. Average for the following aspects: - Housekeeping can be better especially at the dead corners - WiFi is intermittent. If it is accessed continuously, no issue. The signal drops when there is a lapse in accessing the internet. Thus requiring re-logging in - Rooms number ending 04 and 05 (family) from level 2 upwards will be baked in the sun from morning till the sun drops. The entire room is like a sauna. To counter this, turn on the Air conditioner even when you are out of the room. The room needs a good 45 minutes to be cooled down at 23 Deg-C on full fan speed. - Sliding casement window has difficulty sliding open. - Room number ending with 01 tends to be slightly noisy as it is sited next to the lift door opening area. Good for the following aspects: - Walking distance to MRT Sutthisan station - Close to food outlet in the morning for very affordable breakfast at either THB40 or 50 per order. Just to the left of the hotel. To its right towards a T-junction then left towards an T-junction would be the night market on the right. Here you can get fruits at local price - There are 2 7-Eleven outlets. Out from the hotel, left turn towards the market stall, hidden by the umbrella and shelter is the first. The other would be continue walking till you see the main road, left turn towards the MRT Station Sutthisan Exit/Entrance 3. It is located just slightly ahead of this exit/entrance 3 - Shower is good enough

There are so many ants, I can’t stand it, the bed has insects, and there is no hair dryer.
