This is an excellent hotel. The surrounding area feels safe, and Iconsiam is literally right outside the door. The rooms are comfortable, the beds were perfectly comfortable, and the breakfast spread was incredibly generous. The staff are very service-oriented. I had pre-arranged with Ctrip to have the sofa bed prepared and an extra duvet provided before our arrival. At check-in, I was informed that everything had already been taken care of, which was a really thoughtful gesture. Our room also offered a lovely view of the Chao Phraya River. The breakfast far surpassed our expectations.

All good! The location of this hotel was really convenient, next to the Taksin hospital and BTS with many car park lots. Room was great with modern design. There’s a massage service in the hotel location which provided 10% discounts. Overall satisfied with this stay and will get back to this hotel again.

I stayed in a deluxe double room with twin beds and a beautiful river view. Overall, the experience was excellent, though there were a few aspects of the room and facilities that could be improved: - Bathroom layout: The sink is located outside the bathroom, in the hallway area of the room. For greater convenience and privacy, it would be better if the sink were integrated inside the bathroom itself. - Privacy concerns for roommates: The bathroom features a glass wall with a blind, but the blind didn’t fully cover one side, leaving a small gap that could compromise privacy—though we personally weren’t concerned. A larger or better-fitting blind would be helpful. - Air conditioning in the room: The unit was a bit noisy and could benefit from being quieter for a more comfortable stay. - Window design: The large window panel is fixed, and while there is a smaller section that could theoretically be opened, it was locked for security reasons. Allowing guests to open it slightly for fresh air would be ideal. - Soundproofing: Evening noise from the pool area and nearby party boats cruising the river was audible. Thankfully, the pool closes at night and boats stop cruising around 10pm, so it was very quiet afterward. Improved sound insulation on the windows would enhance comfort. - Bathroom ventilation: The exhaust fan was quite weak and didn’t effectively remove odors. - Air conditioning in common areas: The public spaces, like the lobby and restaurants, were a bit too cool—I found myself needing long sleeves indoors. Still, this is preferable to being overheated. - Electronic light control panel: The lighting controls in the room were somewhat confusing and not very intuitive. A simpler, more user-friendly design would be appreciated. That said, everything else was truly top-tier: - Location: The hotel sits just outside the busier central areas of Bangkok, which might not appeal to those seeking more ”action”. However, it’s perfect for travellers seeking a calmer, more peaceful riverside setting. The river surroundings at night are gorgeous, and it’s within walking distance of Asiatique, making it easy to enjoy evening strolls, dining, and shopping. - Hotel appearance: The property itself is stunning—elegant, modern, and beautifully designed throughout. - Staff: The concierge, reception, waiters, and other staff were exceptional—warm, helpful, and professional. - Welcome drinks and snacks: A thoughtful and much-appreciated touch upon arrival. - Dining options: We tried the à la carte restaurant, which offered high-quality food with a wide variety of delicious options, featuring both authentic Thai and international cuisines. We did not try the buffet or the Chinese restaurants (more expensive). - Breakfast buffet: Absolutely amazing, with an incredible variety of both local and international dishes including Japanese, Korean, Indian, and Western cuisines, plus delicious bakery options (both Western and Asian), a cheese station, fresh fruits, and even ice cream! The sheer variety was superb. Breakfast starts at 6am, which is very convenient for early departures on tours. - Cafe/bar: They have a cafe/bar where you can buy cakes and sweets, with takeaway discounts after 6pm. - Tour desk: Conveniently located next to reception, the tour desk provided excellent service. Communication was clear and prompt, and they organised all our tours seamlessly, making the process completely stress-free. - Evening entertainment: piano player and singer - Additional amenities: Complimentary Wi-Fi, free tuk tuk service to Asiatique (only to Asiatique and not back to the hotel but it's within walking distance), a gym, and a pool were all great extras. Overall, this was a fantastic stay at a truly beautiful hotel. With just a few small improvements, it could easily be perfect.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Stay – Highly Recommend! Our stay at IBIS was absolutely fantastic! We stayed in Room 726, which had a stunning river view—perfect for relaxing. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. A special shout-out to the lovely Thai server at the restaurant (we’re sorry we didn’t catch her name!) who took such great care of us. Unfortunately, she wasn’t on duty when we left, but her hospitality stood out! The food quality in the restaurant was amazin —delicious and well-prepared. Additionally, the late checkout until 14:00 hrs was a thoughtful gesture and very helpful for our travel plans. Overall, **IBIS exceeded our expectations**, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting. We’ll definitely return!

details of the cleaning were not as expected, the hotel was under maintenance so from the wing building to the main building takes some efforts to get there but not mentioned upon checkin. We travel with 2 young kids no gifts received at check out; a family from Europe with 2 children received gifts upon check-out, I would not say the reception was racist, but at least this is not up to 5 star hotel standards. The location is super.

The Peninsula Hotel, living up to its impeccable reputation. From the warm reception and throughout our stay, the comprehensive service—including a detailed introduction to our room's facilities—truly exemplified the Peninsula standard. With fewer Chinese guests during our visit, the atmosphere was wonderfully serene. The hotel offers various activities; we chose to participate in the alms-giving ceremony. Unfortunately, morning yoga was fully booked. A French lady at the front desk, whose name started with 'F', was exceptionally welcoming. She personally escorted us to our balcony room and provided a very warm, thoughtful, and professional overview of its amenities. In the evening, turn-down service was provided, complete with the customary 20 Thai Baht tip left under the pillow. The Peninsula's world-renowned service truly is consistent across all its properties and, as always, did not disappoint.

Rooms: Standard-size room with complete bathroom amenities. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were good, with both soft and firm options available. However, the walls were quite thin, so noise from the neighboring room was clearly audible. The next morning, I requested to change rooms. The staff accommodated the request, and the new room was quieter but had a musty smell (possibly from the drainage). 😓 After staying one night, the smell remained the next day, so I requested another room change. The second time, the staff member who assisted me was polite, friendly, and attentive—unlike the first encounter. Food: Standard. Location: Chosen for its proximity to the BTS and the pier. Parking: Good parking area with security guards on duty at all times.

The hotel staff is very courteous and kind, that is the first thing you will notice about this hotel. Breakfast is also very abundant, lots of choices and really good. Hotel rooms are very big, the bathroom, there’s free sodas and beverages in the fridge. The view from the balcony is very very nice! We will definitely come back! There is free shuttle boat going to Icon Siam. Very convenient!

The hotel is nice but the location was not verily convenient. Not many food options nearby. Room was clean, but I saw some ants - could be due to the rainy season. Bathroom has some odd smell. Water dispenser was a nice addition in the common area. Breakfast was not available when I stayed although it’s said available, pay at the property while booking online.

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was! While it has a very Instagram-worthy vibe, the service was genuinely warm and friendly, always with a smile. The hotel itself is a compact, self-sufficient complex, comprising several restaurants, bars, an ice cream parlor, a swimming pool, a pier, and three main buildings. It was incredibly comfortable just staying within the premises. It's highly photogenic, attracting a lot of young women. The main restaurant's food was surprisingly excellent. I also tried the Japanese restaurant; while not the best value for money, the food was still decent. They also have pool tables and free-to-play arcade games. I stayed for a total of four days and didn't feel bored for a single moment.

MM326320****The hotel locates very close to the mall “Icon Siam” and a subway station. It’s convenient to get from the airport to the hotel by highway. Our room was very clean with simple decorations which is good for the short stay. The hotel doesn’t provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, so don’t forget to bring it with you. The stuff is very friendly.

GGuest UserPros: 1. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They knew we were traveling as a family and arranged connecting rooms for us, which was very thoughtful. 2. It was my birthday during our stay, and the housekeeping staff even folded a towel into a small cake for me! It was such a delightful surprise! 3. The view from the window was also fantastic, especially when ICONSIAM lit up at night. 4. There are two excellent pools. The shuttle boat service was also very convenient. Cons: There weren't any major issues. If I had to nitpick, the hotel isn't brand new, and the toilet flush sometimes required a bit more force. However, the overall facilities were perfectly acceptable, especially considering the reasonable price. My only other complaint is that the deposit refund has been incredibly slow – we checked out on August 2nd, and it still hasn't been returned.
