Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit Reviews

The hotel's location is excellent, close to the bar street and just two metro stops away. There's also a mall nearby with many Japanese stores. The service is great, and the breakfast is very good. It's suitable for both family trips and business travel.

We stayed at the Marriott Sukhumvit for three nights and were let down. The lobby looks nice, and the pool area seems okay at first. But the stay itself was not what you expect from a 5-star hotel. Our rooms had a funny smell. We think it came from the air conditioner. It stayed there the whole time. Also, the mattress and sheets felt old and worn out. They really need to be replaced. The pool area shows how the hotel misses small things. It looks okay from far away, but no one seems to check it for dirt or clean the furniture. You can swim there, but I have to say—it is not a nice pool. So in the end, we cannot recommend this hotel. If you are staying nearby, try the Autograph Collection hotel. We ate dinner there. It looked much better—and the price was nearly the same.

I recommend this to anyone who travels or attends conferences. Friendly staff and reception.

Nice and modern

I love this hotel so much and have stayed here many times now and will continue to stay here. I think it is worth paying extra for the club lounge as the e food and drinks are very good. The rooftop bar is one of the best in Bangkok I believe and you get priority when staying at the hotel

The hotel is located in the Japanese quarter, which is a great location for getting around and finding places to eat and shop. The room was quite spacious, and the breakfast spread was impressive, offering both Japanese and Western options. Overall, it was a good stay, and I would choose this hotel again next time.

Booked a twin room for a family of three. The beds in this standard room are indeed quite large, but the facilities are old. The carpet looked dirty, and the toilet wasn't wiped clean. The non-smoking room also had a bit of an odor. Breakfast was decent, but due to the outdated facilities, I won't be returning.

Super comfortable place, stayed here before. Room can get tad cold due to the tiles, keep room temp at 26+ 😉

we have very good stayed, everything is good for 3 of us. Big bed, good hospitallity, good location.

First time in Bangkok, so I can't compare the location or amenities to other hotels. There's a small supermarket about a 2-minute walk straight out of the hotel. When I arrived, the air conditioning felt super cold, constantly blowing cool air. I called maintenance, and it turned out to be broken – I actually thought Bangkok hotels just had really powerful AC! Breakfast is served on the first floor. It was incredibly crowded during my stay, and there was always a queue for breakfast. I only saw coconut juice available one day; it felt like once it was gone, they didn't replenish it.
