Centara Properties in Bangkok

The hotel was decent. There was a very enthusiastic bellhop who also spoke Chinese. The air conditioning was extremely loud. A small anecdote: We arranged a 1-hour late check-out with the front desk. The lady said it was all set, but when we went back to our room, the key card still wouldn't work. So we went back to the front desk again. They said it was definitely fixed this time, but it still didn't work. It was very hot, and we didn't want to keep going back and forth to the front desk, so we asked a housekeeping staff member to call the front desk. The front desk said they would handle it immediately. After waiting five minutes, the housekeeping staff member was also gone. We had no choice but to go back to the front desk. Just then, the bellhop walked by. We explained our predicament, and he resolved it in an instant. Next time, for front desk staff who can't even get the key card timing right, they should be the ones to come to the guest's room to sort it out, instead of making guests run back and forth.

Location of the hotel is great and walking distance to big c and central world. Lots of massage shops along the walkway. Front desk is very helpful and friendly. Check in is very efficient. They gave us souvenirs on the last day of our stay which is very thoughtful. Room is very spacious and clean . Would definitely stay in this hotel again .

This stay at a five-star hotel in Bangkok was honestly such an unforgettable experience for us. We were visiting to celebrate our anniversary, and since we’re both pretty introverted, we didn’t mention anything special when making the reservation. When we checked in today, the staff kindly asked about the purpose of our trip, and my husband mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. The staff truly went above and beyond to prepare such an amazing surprise for us. They upgraded us to a beautiful suite on the 47th floor with a huge living room and an incredible night view of Bangkok. When we came back from sightseeing later that day, we were completely overwhelmed by how thoughtful everything was. The room was filled with surprises and lovely details — delicious chocolates, champagne, roses, and even two swans folded from towels. We were deeply touched and honestly felt so emotional. It made our anniversary trip even more special and memorable.

Convenient for visa extension as directly connected to Government complex (Immigration) under one roof. Front desk, housekeeping efficient and friendly. Parking guard Gf was the opposite. Told us to turn inside the building though we have informed him we booked into the hotel and made us going around for the first 2 floors only to find out all parking lots have been permanently blocked off. Upon our distressed final approach, we were told to go to 4f where bridged directly to the hotel building. Otherwise, could have been a comfortable stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this 5-star hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The location is fantastic—just about a 5-minute cab ride to Chatuchak, making it very convenient for exploring one of Bangkok’s most famous markets. There’s also a large Central shopping mall only a 5-minute walk away, which was perfect for dining, shopping, and relaxing. What truly made my stay special was the exceptional service. The duty manager, Mr. Pitcha, was incredibly helpful and a true problem solver. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was smooth and made me feel completely at home. Overall, it was a memorable experience. I only wish I could have stayed a few more days! I will definitely be coming back to this hotel again.
