Desaru Utama Suites by Book My Stay

The apartment was very clean but lacking in amenities to enjoy the stay. Apart from 4 towels and 4 mugs, nothing else meant for 4 pax. No microwave, TV box or smart TV. Gave location 4 stars as you can walk to mall and eateries. Beach a short drive away.

Clean and modern furnishings. Provided basic needs such as towels and shower gel/shampoo. Easy check in and check out. Near eateries and other Desaru attractions.

Unfortunately, my experience staying here was quite disappointing. The house did not provide an iron, which is considered a basic amenity and should have been clearly informed beforehand if unavailable. On top of that, the WiFi was not working during the stay, making it very inconvenient especially for guests who need internet access. I tried to be understanding, but these issues affected the overall comfort and experience of the stay. The lack of proper facilities made the place feel unprepared for guests

The unit has a basic kitchen cabinet but only 1 bowl, 2 plates and 4 cups, no spoon no folks no utility. Small room no aircond only with a ceiling fan but not serviceable. Toilet has no mirror and water pressure is very low. Upgrade needed.

Title: Avoid – Zero service, just AI bots Terrible experience at Desaru Utama. Service: Non-existent. Locked out of the bathroom and could only talk to a useless AI bot. Location: Very inconvenient. Long U-turns required to get anywhere; not walkable to food. Quality: Cheap. The owner complained about a plastic bin after we left. Better off at a resort where they actually care about guests.
