Royale Chulan Cherating Villa Reviews

This was my first time vacationing here, and overall I’m extremely satisfied with the experience. The staff were very polite, warm, and sincere, providing attentive and thoughtful service throughout our stay. The unique beachfront scenery is even more stunning than in the photos. The food was above average, and we ended up having all our meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—at the hotel during our stay. We also tried the massage therapy, and I have to say the environment was absolutely amazing—listening to the sound of the waves while enjoying professional massage techniques was a five-star experience. We also went on a Jungle Trial. There are a few spots where clearer directional signage could be added. As a small suggestion for the hotel, you might consider setting up a small shop selling souvenirs,postcards and snacks. Guests can truly relax and spend a leisurely time within the hotel without needing to go anywhere. I would definitely come back again.

The room was really big and spacious, and considering how old the place is, it was still pretty clean and tidy. The only thing was the outdoor shower head had some rust, so I didn't use it, but that didn't detract from the overall experience. The front desk service was excellent, and they even gave us a free room upgrade! Since there weren't many guests during this period, the whole villa felt very peaceful and quiet, which made for a fantastic experience. Plus, the private beach was absolutely stunning. The water was so clear it looked like jelly, and you could see schools of fish and all sorts of small creatures with your own eyes. Because the sea is in a bay, it's very shallow, making it perfect and safe for kids.

The Villa is spacious & beautiful. It has dining table & microwave for you to eat in. The private beach is clean & nice, but we feel itchy when swim. The staff said due to sand flies. The swimming pool is rather small & opening hours is short, 9am - 7pm. Went for their jungle trail, a short trail that took about half hour. A bit scary though as I was alone. It would be good if there is an accompanying ranger/guide for guests The breakfast spread is good, like particularly the charcoal toast Hainanese bread with butter. The bread is thick & solid.

The villa was cool and the staffs are all friendly and cater to our request. The overall ambiance is so comfortable and definitely worth a visit for families to relax and spending time together

Good place for relaxing. Beautiful beach, wonderful resort crews. We will definitely come back again!

"Stunning Views and Warm Hospitality" I recently had the pleasure of staying at Royale Chulan Cherating for a short staycation, and it was exactly the refreshment I needed. The View: The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking ocean view. Waking up to the sight of the sound of the waves right from the suite was incredibly peaceful. Whether it was sunrise or sunset, the scenery provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The Service: The staff truly made the difference. From check-in to check-out, the service was top-notch. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. It’s rare to find a team that balances professionalism with such genuine warmth. The Vibe: The villas has a unique architectural charm that feels authentic and serene. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained.

Staying at Royale Chulan Cherating Villa was truly one of the best experiences we’ve had. The place is absolutely stunning, with beautiful sandy beaches and a serene atmosphere. We booked the Ocean Suite for 3D2N, and our room was located directly in front of Cherating Beach, the vibrant scenery made our stay even more memorable. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a delicious selection of local dishes and a variety of desserts. The staff were also exceptionally helpful and friendly, providing excellent service throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful getaway, and we would highly recommend it.

This is a very good hotel for family and couple. This is the second time I am here.

What else can we say more other they are one of the best resorts we've enjoyed staying at. Great for all ages to enjoy their holiday time Great location, great view, beachfront with superb and courteous staff services. Great breakfast selections. Definitely we'll make a return visit.

Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to the Premium Villa, which came with our own private swimming pool — such a perfect touch for relaxation and privacy. That night, we enjoyed the Deepavali buffet spread, and it was excellent. There was a wide variety of dishes, flavourful and festive, making the dinner feel really meaningful and celebratory. The villa itself was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The private pool was definitely the highlight — peaceful, clean, and perfect for an evening dip. Overall, it was a memorable stay with wonderful service and thoughtful gestures. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing seaside villa experience with a touch of luxury!
