Puri Karang Besakih

Perfect location, very close to the mother temple Besakih and edelweis garden. 2-3 km to the trailheads of Mt. Agung. We stayed one night before trekking the mt. Agung. The hotel consist of 6 simple rustic cabins. 3 of them facing to the swimming pool, with amazing overview of beautiful valley and the sacred Agung volcano. The staff are nice and welcoming, make our stay more memorable. Highly recommended for people who want to spend more time to explore the area.

Simple hotel but clean close Mt Batur. Do not expect anything luxurious. Very good for a night before hiking to see sun rise from the top. Food is totally enjoyable. Just be aware to get a room away from rhe kitchen if you want to go to bed early for a 2:30 wakeup. Dish washing stops around 21h30 so I'd you want to go to bed before, room next to there are a bit noisy. Other rooms are not affected. Showers with good water flow including hot water.

Service OK, when you come directly welcome bellboy/roomboy to bring your luggage to the lobby. Facility OK, there are certain parts that can still be improved yes.. The room is clean, the bed is new and the old one, and the spring bed is also the. The room ornamen is an old product, but can be made more clean and attractive. The walls and roof of the room can also be redesigned and clean and modern, but still minimal. The bathroom is OK, the hot water is OK, the shower soap and shampo are OK. Balconi is very iconic ya1 directly facing the mountains and lake Batur2 is very beautiful3 can be made more clean and interesting; there are chairs and tables that can make you enjoy the beauty of nature. The restaurant has a pretty large space and direct view to the mountains and lake Batur too1 very beautiful2 I'm going back to Kintamani, keep moving and moving forward to Lake View Hotel and Restaurant.

I didn't stay at this hotel but we decided to give this place a try as we drove past looking for somewhere to have lunch. We were not disappointed. There is a good variety of food at the restaurant which has absolutely wonderful views! Even the view from the ladies toilet is lovely LOL. Ok you can't see it when sitting on the bog but there is a small round window you can peek out of. We ordered fish and chips, roasted chicken, grilled fish, beef etc with some drinks and it was very nice. The ONLY thing I have to comment is that there were a couple of flies and we were constantly swatting them away but maybe it's where I sat. NExt time if I ever go there, I will try to sit at the long table facing the lake but as this time I was with family, we needed a booth seat. This place has a rooftop pool with some pretty awesome views so do take a climb up the stairs to the top to take some pics. The next time I go to Bali, I may stay 2 nights here just to experience the entire place.

I just finished a two-day stay with my colleagues. The facilities here are well-equipped and the environment is comfortable, which is very suitable for a group of people to live together. The room is really big and big, the toilet is also very clean and tidy, and the mattress is also very clean, comfortable and soft, the best The important thing is that the air is very fresh, and I am very satisfied with this business trip. Of course, there is nothing to say about the scenery. The sunrise and sunset are really beautiful. I took a lot of photos. Waking up in the morning and seeing the mountain at a glance, the sea of clouds really makes people feel very relaxed. The locals are also very polite and won't look at you with strange eyes just because you are a foreigner. The next time I bring my family to Indonesia, I will definitely stay here again to experience the experience.

Ubud
Very cute villa in the north of Ubud. Very spacy and cute villa. I would advise to have a driver or a scooter as it’s quite far from everything but you get a peaceful surrounding. When rainy, the bathroom can get quite crowded with insects but only happened once. The service is excellent and the reception is very fast in helping.

Filled with ancient temples, rich arts and crafts, and a vibrant nightlife, Bali offers a kaleidoscopic blend of natural beauty and cultural depth.

Tips for Travelling to Bali

Bali's main international gateway is Ngurah Rai International Airport, located near the capital city, Denpasar. Travelers can explore Bali through taxis, local buses, bicycles, motorbikes, or even hired cars.

The official currency is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Most hotels and restaurants accept credit cards, but having some cash on hand for local markets and smaller venues is recommended. Indonesian is the official language, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas.

As for visas, many nationalities can enter Indonesia visa-free for up to 30 days, but it's best to check before your journey.

Bali offers a wealth of cultural and natural attractions. Explore the ancient temples of Tanah Lot and Uluwatu, or immerse yourself in the artistic heritage of Ubud, Bali's cultural heart. Visit the Tegalalang Rice Terraces and the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary for unique experiences.

Bali's beaches are equally enticing, with Kuta Beach, Seminyak Beach, and Nusa Dua Beach offering vibrant beach life. Surfing enthusiasts will love the waves at Uluwatu and Canggu.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Bali enjoys a tropical climate with temperatures fairly consistent year-round. The best times to visit are during the dry season, from April to October. Bring lightweight, breathable clothing, a hat, and sunscreen to protect from the sun. Also, remember to dress modestly when visiting temples.
