Just need an additional charge for 1 person ... although the mattress is available for 3 adults. Sc good place full facility ... compared to paying 100k/person entrance ticket, better stay at hokers camp

This place has an amazing view to Mount Batur and Lake Batur. It is on the road where the trucks are passing for transporting sands and other materials. Sometimes we can hear the roar but only on working hours (morning to eary evening). The road is quit a challenging form some with poor driving skill. This road is not suitable for easy cycling (unless you're a pro). It offers big room which need maintenance in some areas. The main issues in this place is the humidity which cause many walls are peels off. Bathroom almost as big as the room itself. Intalling URINALs on the bathroom would be good for male since it still has plenty of space. Urinal would help male not to pee on the floor hence reduce pee smell in bathroom. This place has unique restaurant called The Kayuan. it is very instagrammable. Food and drinks are so so, but better than most of other place in this area.

In the property there are 4 very simple Villas, spacious room, bathroom and that's it, little decoration and everything very simple and not very clean (tv photos), the views are beautiful, the worst thing is the MOSCAS (Flies) it's impressive, you can't eat ! The plates are filled with them, in the pool you can NOT spend even two minutes because they bother you all the time and there are millions of them everywhere, it's a nuisance. Apart from the flies, the service offered by the hotel is lousy, there is no one in a kind of reception that is in the Bar-terrace, you have to call a phone and after a while someone comes to you... we ask for breakfast almost by signs already that they speak English like I do Indonesian (0)… after much pointing out, what is on the menu, we ask for 2 continental breakfasts (which they offer on the menu for 50k) they bring us only one! I claim and they have forgotten or they haven't found out, mystery, after 45 minutes of clock and putting up with the unbearable flies they bring me my breakfast... oh and there was no one else in the Bar-Restaurate...! Amazing! We didn't even dare to ask for anything else there! Too bad since the place looked good.

I didn't stay at this hotel but we decided to give this place a try as we drove past looking for somewhere to have lunch. We were not disappointed. There is a good variety of food at the restaurant which has absolutely wonderful views! Even the view from the ladies toilet is lovely LOL. Ok you can't see it when sitting on the bog but there is a small round window you can peek out of. We ordered fish and chips, roasted chicken, grilled fish, beef etc with some drinks and it was very nice. The ONLY thing I have to comment is that there were a couple of flies and we were constantly swatting them away but maybe it's where I sat. NExt time if I ever go there, I will try to sit at the long table facing the lake but as this time I was with family, we needed a booth seat. This place has a rooftop pool with some pretty awesome views so do take a climb up the stairs to the top to take some pics. The next time I go to Bali, I may stay 2 nights here just to experience the entire place.

More about Bali

Introduction to Bali

Bali, an Indonesian island known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, and stunning beaches, is the country's most famous tourist destination. Filled with ancient temples, rich arts and crafts, and a vibrant nightlife, Bali offers a kaleidoscopic blend of natural beauty and cultural depth.

Tips for Travelling to Bali

Bali's main international gateway is Ngurah Rai International Airport, located near the capital city, Denpasar. Travelers can explore Bali through taxis, local buses, bicycles, motorbikes, or even hired cars.

The official currency is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Most hotels and restaurants accept credit cards, but having some cash on hand for local markets and smaller venues is recommended. Indonesian is the official language, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas.

As for visas, many nationalities can enter Indonesia visa-free for up to 30 days, but it's best to check before your journey.

Popular Attractions in Bali

Bali offers a wealth of cultural and natural attractions. Explore the ancient temples of Tanah Lot and Uluwatu, or immerse yourself in the artistic heritage of Ubud, Bali's cultural heart. Visit the Tegalalang Rice Terraces and the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary for unique experiences.

Bali's beaches are equally enticing, with Kuta Beach, Seminyak Beach, and Nusa Dua Beach offering vibrant beach life. Surfing enthusiasts will love the waves at Uluwatu and Canggu.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Bali enjoys a tropical climate with temperatures fairly consistent year-round. The best times to visit are during the dry season, from April to October. Bring lightweight, breathable clothing, a hat, and sunscreen to protect from the sun. Also, remember to dress modestly when visiting temples.

Choosing Your Ideal Hotel in Bali

For luxury beachfront accommodation, consider the Legian Bali or the W Bali in Seminyak. In Ubud, the Hanging Gardens of Bali offers a unique luxury experience with its Instagram-famous infinity pool.

For budget travelers, the Puri Garden Hotel and Hostel in Ubud offers comfort and excellent service. The Dash Hotel Seminyak, with its eclectic and colorful design, is an Instagram-worthy stay.
