Environment: On the mountain, you can't see the sea...the garden design is like a small garden Each room is independent and quiet. The restaurant is not big and the swimming pool is not big. It is like a B&B. It is newly opened and clean. I think the price of more than 1,000 yuan is a bit expensive. The biggest drawback: The swimming pool is very dark at night. When I reached the end of the swim, my vision suddenly went dark. I wanted to stand up, only to find that the water was so deep that I couldn’t stand. After drinking two sips of water, I struggled to swim back and almost... there was no safety. Tip: The black hole seemed to be a diving acclimation zone when I went to see it the next day. Novices said that they are still frightened even now. It is recommended to put a floating line to separate them.

If you want to relax and not go anywhere, you will like it here. If you like to travel, you will travel to places that are quite far away.

Stayed here for two nights, three days and had a great time Location: Location of this hotel is a bit 'in the middle of nowhere' vibe. However, that being said Nusa Penida is not large, you can get to one end of the island to the other in less than an hour. And since you usually tour East Nusa one day and North Nusa the next day, since the hotel is more or less in the middle of the island you are basically equidistant to all the ends of the island. For this reason, I actually liked it being in the middle of the island. The downside is that you are not within walking distance at all of anywhere to eat. So you basically have to eat at the resort. That being said, the food is good (see below.) Also the roads on the island are not in good condition so even if you had a scooter I would not recommend riding it at night to somewhere off resort to eat. Food: Ate at the restaurant twice for dinner. I am a vegetarian, husband is not and we both had pretty good choices. Again, even me as a vegetarian, I didn't even have to repeat a meal as I had multiple options. Breakfast: A-la carte style. If you are vegan you will have no options. As a vegetarian, unfortunately, I had pretty limited options. I had more options for dinner. Breakfast is included and then lunch, dinner or snacks are extra. Menu size is really quite good though. Portion size: Portions are small, I recommend you get a starter with your dinner. I was unfortunately still hungry after my breakfast too. Taste and presentation: amazing! No complaints Staff: Very nice and wanting to help you Grounds: Everything was very clean. Lots of greenery, makes you feel like you are in the middle of the jungle, which I liked. Room: Room was super spacious, it was the largest bed I have ever slept in. Cons: AC did not work, there is an AC unit but all it does is blow air. There is also a ceiling fan. Now, fortunately, the fans were actually enough to cool the rooms. Everything was super clean Very private, you get your own little private outdoor sitting area. Scooters: They have multiple scooters to rent on sight for 200K IDR a day. We rented a Honda 160cc (they also have a smaller one, I believe 120cc) and it was brand new and even keyless. When I say brand new, I mean brand new! They were in impeccable working condition and we pushed that scooter down some pretty bumpy roads and up some very steep roads and it powered through like a champ! The day we checked out we were not going to our boat until 4pm, and check out is at noon and they let us have the scooter the morning of check-out to putter around town which was so nice. Seriously, though, the immaculate brand new scooters were amazing!

Best stay in Cave Beach Bungalow. The room was amazing we had see view. Airconditioning is good working and there is a hot shower (not usual in every hotel). There is a swimming pool and 5 meters down the pool there is also a beach where you can swim. The workers of the hotel are so friendly you can ask them everything and also they clean the room everyday. (Incl fresh towels) The owner of the hotel speaks English very well & he organize tours for around the island. The location of the hotel is perfect if you don’t want to be in the crowded Main Street. In these street you are between the locals what makes it so nice. For food there are multiple warungs in the street, our favorite was SeeTara kitchen this one was only a 5 min walk. Almost forgot to say they offer a taxi ride to the harbor for a very good price. We didn’t booked it and we were cheated for 2 times the price.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 4 nights during our visit in Nusa Penida. We would recommend Coco Resort Penida everytime someone asked us about accommodation in Nusa Penida. We booked this with the attention to have something ”a little extra” and a little extra we absolutely got, the staff and the place itself were awesome during our visit!

We weren't planning on staying here at first, but since the place where our other friends were staying was fully booked, we had to look for another place to stay nearby. I guess we lucked out. Located in a quiet area in Nusa, this place was perfect for relaxation. The room was spacious, as well as the bathroom. Wifi was reliable. The staff were extremely warm and friendly and were always ready to help. It was a pleasant stay all throughout.

Breathtaking View with 5 Star Service. I was staying for solo trip and this is my 4th times already and this time I have stayed at one of newest luxury 5 star villa at Maua Nusa Penida, it’s part of Swiss-Belhotel International. From the moment you entering the lobby you will see beautiful view with outdoor lobby and restaurant area which connected to bar and main pool. The Villa I was staying at Luxury One Bed Room Villa with private pool and spectacular view from bed. Nice room setup and semi outdoor bathroom. This Villa is sustainable one so you can’t find any plastic materials as well as the food in the restaurant all of them are organic, nice presentation with healthy foods and beverages. Tried the Seafood BBQ at Thursday night and it was all fresh and taste so good. They also have acoustic entertainment during dinner. Staff are having genuine smile and always helpful without you were asking first as they always aware in advance, that’s the service guest wanted. Spa was so good and the therapist have strong and good pressure which made you feel relax and feel relieve. They do have also some guests activities where guests can join on daily, Tours also provided if you need to go on tour with comfort ride and services. Definetely will recommend Maua Nusa Penida for some of friends and family and will be back soon for sure with my my family for holiday. Just to let you know Nusa Penida good for snorkeling and Diving especially if you want to see Manta and Mola Mola Fish on September and October, good also to come on July and August. Amazing service by Alit and team. Very personable and sincere. We contacted the hotel one day before our arrival to arrange for a pick-up. We were lucky to have Alit pick us up from the harbour and it was amazing service by Alit and team from that moment on. Roads leading to the hotel are narrow but the quality of roads are not worse than roads leading to some key attractions. Rooms were great and the views amazing! Felt like a sanctuary after returning from touring the island. Food was good too!

The staff was very kind, friendly and when we came with issues or problems to them, they always did everything to find solutions. They really hustled and always gave their best because we arrived a few hours before the check-in and they did everything that we can go in our bungalow. But to be honest, the communication was very hard and unsure due to the staff’s poor English language skills. The food at the breakfast tasted delicious but there was no huge variety. In the small village where the bungalows were, was everything available (Warung, supermarket, Laundry) but to see more e. g. beaches, discover the island or get to the port, a scooter would be essential.
