Firstly, I rarely review hotels I've stayed at, but Alila Bali was an absolute shocker. Do NOT come here. It's a complete waste of money. Not only did I pay nearly 7,000 per night, but I wouldn't stay here again even if it cost 1,000. The first red flag was the swarm of mosquitoes and insects around during check-in. After being shown to our room, the staff left without any introduction whatsoever. The second major drawback: the food was incredibly bad. Adding breakfast cost over 1,000 RMB, and it was one of the worst breakfasts I've ever had – the only other time was at the Banyan Tree Shanghai. It felt like the chef got the job through connections 😅. Here comes the third major issue: during check-out, we were given someone else's bill and asked to pay for breakfast again. It was only after we pointed out the incorrect bill that the front desk staff bothered to check if the names matched. And as for the deposit? They wouldn't have refunded it if we hadn't reminded them! There were many other issues too, like poor hygiene and outdated facilities. Thank goodness we only stayed one night. I'm truly speechless.

This hotel is really great! It's right on a cliff, and the sunset views at night are absolutely stunning – perfect for couples. Every room has its own pool. Just a heads-up, be careful with the monkeys; don't leave food out.

The hotel service is superb! They even have 24-hour dining! The architecture is beautiful and the views are stunning. The infinity pool is also gorgeous. Our room was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable, with its own private pool – no disturbances at all. Breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious, and it was an à la carte all-you-can-eat!

When she noticed I was not feeling well, her thoughtful gesture of arranging ginger tea with honey and ensuring I had enough water was deeply touching. This level of care goes far beyond expectations. Alila Villas Uluwatu is a place where luxury is expressed through calm, respect, and attentiveness — never intrusive, always refined. I left feeling restored, appreciated, and already looking forward to returning. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a serene and meaningful experience.

Excellent! All the villas come with private pools. Even though it poured rain all day during our check-in, which felt like a waste, it was still a rare and relaxing getaway. The environment is lovely, and the breakfast is good too. They even have QR codes that show pictures, which is a nice touch.

Every return to the room, every quiet moment by the private pool, was filled with the beautiful fusion of sea breeze, sunset, and serenity. Room Type and Amenities: We stayed in a One Bedroom Pool Villa. The room design was modern and tasteful, with a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces; opening the glass sliding doors led directly to the private pool. The villa was fully equipped and impeccably clean, giving an immediate sense of 'this is where I want to stay.' Service and Details: The staff were friendly and professional, making every step from check-in to check-out comfortable and well-cared for. A special thanks to our villa butler/restaurant staff for arranging delightful little surprises that made the entire trip even more heartwarming. Dining Experience: There's a wide variety of dining options, whether you prefer Indonesian flavors, Mediterranean cuisine, or healthy light meals, each offering its own unique taste. Breakfast was abundant, and dining for lunch and dinner in such a scenic environment was particularly enjoyable. Reason for Recommendation: If you're looking for a resort where you can relax and be surrounded by beauty, Alila Villas Uluwatu is an excellent choice. Our trip was incredibly rewarding, and we will definitely return if given the chance.

The hotel have a sense of peace and tranquility once step in. The personal service provided is so delicate and care that makes one like home. The staff responded to the request rapidly and take care the need of the guests. All very polite. The pool is extremely beautiful. I also walked down to the beach and the view of the Indian Ocean is stunning. A cool and nice stay at Uluwatu!

The international menu offered a variety of choices, all prepared with the finest ingredients. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented, adding to the overall charm of the experience. The resort’s iconic cliff-edge cabana was an unforgettable spot to relax and soak in the panoramic ocean views. The tranquil atmosphere throughout the property provided a perfect setting to unwind and escape from the everyday routine. The staff went above and beyond to enhance our stay. They kindly assisted us in booking tickets for the famous Kecak dance performance at the Uluwatu Temple, allowing us to skip the long lines and enjoy the experience seamlessly. Additionally, we enjoyed premium complimentary resort car access to Savaya Club, which made the journey as enjoyable as the destination. These thoughtful touches truly elevated our stay. Alila Villas Uluwatu offers a luxurious escape that is perfect for couples, families, or anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable getaway. The One Bedroom Pool Villa provided comfort and elegance. The exceptional service, breathtaking views, and thoughtful conveniences like premium car access and seamless activity bookings make this resort a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the best of Bali.

This place is great for a group of friends, it really has a vacation vibe. The only downside is that the soundproofing in the rooms isn't great. Also, there are too many blackout curtains, which makes it a bit of a hassle to close them all at night, and they don't block out light very effectively. I'd recommend improving that aspect.

We had such a great stay at the property is beautiful. The restaurants are amazing and all of the staff are very lovely. We want to highlight Yumi who was our waitress for two days and she has been fantastic.
