Bali Seascape Beach Club

Great location for elegance in a wonderful area of Candidasa. Pool and beach front was awesome and food amenities was great. I was there during the Christmas holiday and New Year’ Eve festival so I was truly impressed by the service at the sister hotel, Palms Reset. They had activities to keep quest entertained and the staff was pleasant and amicable. I truly enjoyed my stay at the resort for 2 weeks.

Filthy and decrepit accommodations that smelled of sewage. Was supposed to be their best unit. Had to move to a different resort as the smell and worry of bugs prevented us from sleeping. Staff were lovely however. Owner obviously doesn’t care. Maybe if people stop going the owner will do something.

I absolutely loved my stay at Bali Seascape. I stayed for 7 days and nights. I had a studio style room, no kitchen. The room and bathroom was very lovely. I loved being on the second floor with privacy and a view just outside over the balcony. The people who worked there were so kind, friendly, and helpful. Wonderful service. There was a traditional Barong dance performance on Wednesday night. The location is walkable to shops and restaurants. I really enjoyed walking in the local area! There is a bar and restaurant on site as well. TIKA (manager?) was absolutely fantastic! What a good hearted and kind person-- I wish him all the best and happiness in life! It was a beautiful place, a beautiful stay, and felt like home! It gave me a wonderful memory in Candidasa.

We found this little gem while looking for the beach and were welcomed for a family swim in the pool and sunset cocktails even though we weren’t staying here. The staff are lovely and it looks like a great little place to stay. We’d definitely visit again on a return trip and consider staying here too. We felt so welcomed here that we ended up having many meals here and loved the Barong dance performance, too! Definitely a family favourite!

Booked two rooms back in January to travel in October, as both parties have mobility issues I requested two ground floor rooms close to the pool area, I was very pleased to receive an e-mail shortly afterwards confirming that my request would be no problem at all. On arriving at the hotel I was very surprised to be told our rooms were on the first and second floors, this was totally not acceptable due to the very steep steps that have large risers and both parties could not manage these. After much discussion and showing of e-mails eventually we got one ground floor room and a promise of the other one in three days time, although this was not great it was the best we could do in the short term, three days later we did get the second ground floor room as promised but not a good start to our break. The hotel itself is a short walk from the main street in Candidasa where most of the shops and restaurants are, some restaurants will provide a free shuttle service locally. The whole hotel is now a bit dated and showing signs of age, quite a few of the sunbeds need repairing. The staff are very friendly and helpful and always smiling and saying hello. We had breakfast included in our deal, which was ordered and cooked fresh, the hotel has direct access to a small beach and there is some nice snorkelling to be had but needs to be high tide as it does get very shallow when the tide is out. You can see lovely sunsets from here most evenings. There are massages available near the pool at reasonable prices, but we prefer to have them in town as it is more comfortable in air conditioning. I don't think we will be travelling back to Bali, but if we did, I think we would use another hotel in this area as there are so many to choose from.

However, the hotel would need some facelift, we felt good there. The stuff is very kind, the pool area and the seascape is fantastic, the city is close on foot. In front of the hotel, we saw some nice fish and even a turtle. There are lots of boats around who would like to take you to the closest islands, but you should bargain. The bed was comfortable, but there are a few cocks around so some earplugs could be useful if you like to sleep longer.

Bali is a beautiful country and its people even more so. That said, the Bali Seascape Beach Club (BSBC) resort was situated in a gorgeous location, Candidasa. The resort has a sister resort, and a ride can be arranged to shuttle back and forth. The sister resort is much larger and has equally attractive view. The BSBC is a bit run down and needs more comfortable furniture. There are many restaurants close by that are wonderful.

The resort was lovely. The service was fantastic. There was a small restaurant on site and the food was good. The town is not far and definitely walkable. Some great dining options there. The resort is quite a drive to the airport, it took two hours to get there. The resort has a great pool And very quiet. I had some challenges getting ahold of them Prior to my arrival but eventually did and everything worked out! A few of the rooms have steep stairs to get into the room so if you can’t do stairs be sure to ask for a ground level room.

Majestic, rustic, rural, & enlightening. A memorable experience. Eastern part of Bali, far enough from major traffic & close enough to numerous sites & events. Floating Palace, Water Palace, & Bali Dance event were outstanding. Temples are awakening.
