The Samaya Ubud

The best experience of Bali and it’s hospitality. From location, to the golf car ride, from the wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner to the nature, it was experience that left us happy inside. There is free shuttle to the Ubud centre at designated time. Villas themselves are gorgeous, ours was Mountain view and absolutely loved the morning view of Batur volcano. Private Pool and the jacuzzi was fantastic to be active. Food is deliciously served with the top Bali service with smile. Felt always at home with their fine hospitality. Breakfast options are fantastic, though didn’t have lunch, the dinner experience was top notch. High tea was also a good surprise. They helped us with arranging good tour of Ubud and surroundings and the final day we enjoyed the complimentary photo shoot and loved it so much. The attention given to your needs is the best we enjoyed. My wife being a vegetarian, they always remembered to provide the right recommendations (they have a separate vegetarian menu). All in all our stay at “The Samaya, Ubud” was the best decision for 2022. Will always recommend it for stay in Ubud.

We really enjoyed our stay with our 1.5 years old. All the staff are very attentive and friendly! We stayed there for 4 days and we were so relaxed. The resort is very quiet and peaceful. And don’t forget to try their spa!! It was soooooo good!

My husband and I had an amazing stay at The Samaya Ubud. We spent 3 nights at the Ayung Villa and did not want to leave! The villa is very spacious, clean and well maintained – with just the right balance between modern and Balinese style decor. The bathroom is huge and equipped with a private jaccuzi. There is also a 1.8m-deep private swimming pool that is quite large. The hotel consists of a number of villas and they are a fair distance away from the reception area, but a buggy service is provided to transport guests back and forth from their villas. The Samaya Ubud has a beautiful scenery and is centrally located, it is only about 15-minute drive away from local attractions such as the Ubud Monkey Forest and Saraswati Temple. A free shuttle service from the hotel to Ubud Central is provided. The service was impeccable, every single one of the staff that we met during our stay was extremely friendly and helpful. We had informed the hotel that we were visiting Bali to celebrate my birthday / our honeymoon, and they provided us with complimentary wine, decorated our room with flowers, and even surprised me with a cake on my birthday (right after we checked out & just before we left!) We felt very well looked-after throughout our stay here and we could tell that they truly served from the heart. One of the highlights of our stay was the romantic candlelit dinner at the Swept Away restaurant overlooking the Ayung River. The 7-course dinner was delicious, and the staff were very attentive throughout the dinner. We couldn’t finish everything and they helped to pack the remaining food and delivered them to our room. The dinner set up was very beautiful – the staff went above and beyond with the set up, placing 100 candles around the dining area, even at the riverbank! They also kindly helped us take many photos and videos to capture this unforgettable moment. We really loved our stay at The Samaya Ubud, and we are hoping to go back there one day. We upgraded the Villa with Volcanic View for free. The Samaya don't pay more attention to Chinese 🇨🇳 guests than European and American guests. Now, we will pay attention to the personal care and see-off for our restaurant dining and check-out. The communication is more than that of European and American guests. There is a clear difference in the attention and treatment of Chinese people in other luxury resorts that I stayed in next

It can be called a perfect hotel. Before staying at Samaya, I stayed in ayana villa that was three or four times the price. Samaya's service and catering are not inferior at all, and they are meticulous. I particularly recommend Samaya's restaurant, which beats all other restaurants in Ubud. The fried vegetables even have Hot pot gas satisfies the Chinese stomach to the greatest extent
