Hotel: Bakung Resort in Kuta. I was unexpectedly delighted with this hotel! It turned out to be the best of the 5 hotels I stayed at in Bali during my vacation. The hotel is simply immersed in lush greenery and palm trees (I adore palm trees!), featuring a large and deep (2m) swimming pool. I got a room with a garden view – awesome! There are also rooms without a view. The rooms come with a TV, refrigerator, and kettle. There are no toothbrushes, but soap is provided. The only downside was the dim lighting in the room. The hotel staff were very responsive and allowed me to check in early. Nearby is a huge mall with low prices in the supermarket on the ground floor. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to the ocean. About a 15-minute walk to the airport... Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel, especially for the price. -Wishing everyone a great holiday!

I was very well received around 11 PM. The rooms are large and clean, the pool is superb, I recommend it.

I booked a room for a couple of days but stayed for three more. The staff was very kind and attentive. I forgot my fridge magnets and returned to the hotel a day after check out. Magnets were carefully stored and returned to me intact.

The hotel has a great location. It's a 15-20 minute walk from the airport and also 15-20 minutes to the water park. Next to the hotel, there's a mall where you can buy groceries and exchange money. The beach isn't far either, just a 5-10 minute walk. The room was clean and odorless. Breakfasts were modest but filling. We booked this hotel as our first stop upon arriving in Bali. It's perfectly suited for a short stay of 2-3 days.

Bakung Beach is located close to the airport, and Jerman Beach. Right next to it is a shopping center. Many amenities around. It is an old hotel so wear and tear is normal. Good for the price. Good breakfast

Nice hotel down one of the side roads, huge pool but 2 meter depth,so if not a good swimmer best to use the small children's pool at the side..hotel is a bit dated but what do you expect for the price your paying..great of you want a private room instead of sharing in hostel.

1st time here. Great location Jerman beach 5 min walk, Even walked to Airport 20 min. Great pool, clean rooms. Great Value, will be back

The hotel was perfect for traveling as it is near to many restaurants, a mall, and shopping centers. The staffs were accommodating and punctual to our needs.

The room doesn’t really match with the photos provided. The bathroom is old and the smell is horrible, there are stains on the sheets, and I got lots of mosquito bites. The location, however, is good. It’s near the airport and lots of stores around the area.

They didn't provide amenities other than soap, but if you're just looking for a place to sleep, it's perfectly satisfactory. The building is old, but it felt clean.

The hotel itself isn't really for a long stay, just for a night before a flight, as it's within walking distance of the airport. My main complaints would be the poor soundproofing, old and dirty linens, and no safe, but what do you expect for such a cheap price?

A little underwhelming, room with a conjoining door that you can hear everything through.. i mean everything! Has the potential, but poor upkeep and rooms from the 1980's was disappointing. I understand cheaper but needs serious owner to bring it back to its previous glory...

The worst hotel I’ve had been. Dirty, old, smell very bad, my bed had dirty sheets, and instead change they just swapped sides… terrible.
