The Ungasan Clifftop Resort

Beautiful seafront property with the most breath taking views from our villa. We woke up to an amazing ocean view every day. Service was fantastic and food was delicious. Only down side to this property is location is quite remote and generally you can see the age in the furniture etc. The access to Sundays beach club was a nice perk!

Location is quite secluded, not much amenities near the resort and the road up is narrow and windy. But the view from the resort is breathtaking. We booked the ocean view villa and it has the best view of the ocean and the beach. The villa is clean with huge toilet, walk in wardrobe, tub and outdoor shower.. Service is excellent as well.

Wonderful Staff wonderful place wonderfully relaxing. Lots of room lots of privacy. Lots of choices around for good dining. Get out of the hustle and bustle and enjoy life. The beaches are cleaner and white sand this side try to avoid some of the rowdy clubs that are on the beach Sundays is a cool club and worthwhile visiting for paddle boarding etc. Kendra and Hari were fantastic. The beds could be a bit softer, and some tropical maintenance is needed, but the pure luxury and views make you forget that quickly

Hey fellow travelers, I just have to share our amazing experience at The Ungasan Resort, specifically at Villa Nora. We've been lucky enough to travel the world and stay in some stunning places, but The Ungasan is something else. This trip was extra special as we were celebrating my wife's 50th birthday, and it was the perfect setting for such a milestone. When you check out the website, the views and villa layouts look incredible. But let me tell you, when you're actually there and you look out over the ocean and hear the sound of waves in the distance, it's truly something. We all felt the same each day we spent there... Absolute perfection. The staff's attention to detail is beyond. Imagine waking up, going for a quick swim and coming back to find your room already made up – and this is at 9 am! It's the small things that make a huge difference. They somehow anticipate your needs without being intrusive. Heading out for lunch? The staff is ready with buggies to whisk you away to Sundays, where you're greeted with big, warm smiles. The food here is fantastic – every dish is a hit. We even asked for some in-villa cooking, and the villa manager shopped for ingredients, adding them transparently to our bill. When we hadn’t finished what we had bought or what was left, they even suggested recipes like beef rendang to ensure we didn't waste any food. This level of care and sincerity is rare and makes you just want to come back again and again. I noticed that some might talk about the resort's seclusion, but we found it more of a blessing. The tranquillity here beats the busy streets of Seminyak any day. But getting to places like Jimbaran Bay for surfing lessons was a breeze, just a 20-30 minute drive. Or if you wanted to go to Savaya day club etc there are all close by. We did however spent most of our time between Sundays (sunset evenings with fire pits for the kids with smores) and rose for the adults. Special thanks to Brendan (GM), Kylie (guest services manager), and Anik (villa manager). Their efforts made our stay incredibly special. We're already dreaming of our next visit to The Ungasan – it's not just a stay, it's an experience etched in our hearts. Cheers to The Ungasan – a true gem in paradise!

We just came back from spending a few days at the cliff top resort in Ungusan, and it was perfection. The venue was flawless and the staff was amazing. Our butler, Wis, was impeccable. He attended to all our needs and was very pleasant. They surpassed all our expectations. I highly recommend this resort. If we go back, we will definitely ask for Wis again.

WOW! Talk about the best first stop on our honeymoon ever. The resort is stunning at every single turn. The staff is soooo nice and accommodating. Brendan and Martin went out of their way to make us feel special. The daily breakfast was out of the world. You also can’t beat the access to Sundays Beach club. Prepare to have your breath taken away. Thank you to all the staff who made the start to our trip one we will never forget. I do not have one bad thing to say about this slice of heaven.
