The hotel is very huge and at the heart of nusa dua, the rooms are good size the property has a very nice and relaxed vibe. Really nice pool and a great breakfast. There is a big market area nearby. Many connivence stores nearby and u can rent bikes, exchange for currency and massage services The con is the property is a bit old but u quite ok. I paid abt 50 SGD per night so it was ok. There is a bit of walking from the lobby to the main gate and the main road but it was fine. The place was very safe and comfortable

The hotel is alright, but definitely not a 4-star. It's set back from the road, which is nice and keeps the grounds quiet. The hotel itself is quite old, everything is worn out. In our room, none of the electrical appliances were working upon check-in (refrigerator, TV, safe, and hairdryer) but everything was quickly repaired or replaced. There's a private beach with a shuttle service.

Let's talk about the positives first – they have their own private beach area with sun loungers and beach towels. The beach itself is great, even with the low tide. We took a trip to Melasti, which was beautiful, but the sea was really rough and stormy, so we couldn't go in; the waves were about 3 meters high. Breakfasts were modest, and we ended up paying extra for our child's breakfast, but honestly, we probably didn't need to.

This is our third year in a row at the Mercure. It's become a tradition to start our Bali trip here. The value for money is simply superb. So far, I haven't found a better option for 3500 [currency, e.g., IDR, RUB] with a good breakfast, large grounds, daily cleaning, a gym, and two swimming pools on site. There's also a private beach area, and a shuttle takes you there every hour (it's a 10-minute ride). The only downside this year was a shortage of sun loungers. The hotel definitely looks more worn out every year and is in need of renovation... BUT, the 3500 price tag for a room makes you overlook all of that. 😄

I booked a room for myself and another for a friend, and both of us had complaints. First, there were no towels provided, and the hygiene was absolutely terrible. Second, in my room, we could plug in devices directly, but in the other room, they needed an adapter. Lastly, there was hardly anything to eat for breakfast.

The hotel is well maintained. Good location. Overall, it deserves 4 stars. Large pool and space around it. The main plus is the shuttle bus to the beach. And staff are super friendly. I will recommend it for long stay vacation.
