Hotels in Bali Reviews

We liked this place so much that we booked two more nights here. A remote village surrounded by coffee plantations was exactly what we needed after crowded Ubud. Rooms are very nice and cosy, the views are amazing with the possibility to see sunrise and sunset. Relaxing by the local waterfall was refreshing as there weren't many people. Very friendly nice staff. I would definitely like to come back.

This was exactly what we needed as our first 'post-covid' holiday. Sanak is stunning, set amongst rice fields and with stunning views of the mountains of North Bali, the contrast to our restricted environment in Singapore could not be greater. The retreat is simple, elegant and beautiful and the service matches. The rooms were cool and stylish, the beds vast. Food was excellent. So often the kitchen can be a let down, but not here. The spiced fish was probably the highlight but we also ate enough pisang goreng to keep the banana plantation busy for a while! We went on excursions every day, there's plenty to do within easy reach, we stayed for four nights, a week would not have been too much. A special mention to our driver, Gusti, who provided plenty of local knowledge and insights and was an absolute pleasure to have as company during our trip. We're back now, and already checking calendars to see when we can go again!!
