Sanctoo Suites & Villas
4.6/569 Reviews
Sanctoo staff were all respectful and went the extra mile for us especially the two ladies who checked us in. The room is little tired however still very nice. One advice to the hotel is to please upgrade the food quality, we stayed at 5 different hotels during our time in Bali and Sanctoo’s food was the worst in terms of quality of the food and presentation. Breakfast buffet is a very sad experience with hardly anything on offer. We did however enjoy our floating breakfast besides the food. The staff are very gifted individuals in hospitality and for that reason alone I would come back.
Yanyan Resort Ubud

This is my first time visiting YanYan Resort Ubud, and recently they have just added deluxe rooms for your staycation reference besides villa😍 If you happen to plan a trip to Ubud I really recommend this new property! 1. The property is new and absolutely neat & clean 2. The location is close by Bali Zoo and sight-seeing tourism places 3. The panoramic view of Ubud forest in front of your room 4. Honeymoon getaway is perfect here✨🥰 5. You can request breakfast at the restaurant or a floating breakfast instead🍉🥛🍯 Wanting a refreshment far from the city noise, Yanyan would be the one for you! #ubud
Santi Mandala Villa & Spa

Everything is really good just that forget about anything complementary for any occasion without paying for it. Staff is amazing, location too but they will not drop you even 500 meters from outside your hotel for anything when they can by their shuttle. But they will call you a paid taxi:-)
Villa Telaga Wana

Very nice host Gede and other staff. Ready to assist you in every possible situation (like unfolded tyres). Rooms are very comfortable, breakfast - for number, amount of food included was the best I had on Bali this trip. Locations nearby like Bali zoo, Birds park, Reptile park and so on.

Ubud
Hotel is good, there are its pluses: staff is very kind, swimming pool 24/7, breakfast though and complex, you choose from the evening, but good, I didn't eat and was happy to 👍

It's certainly not a wip of the lactators, but for its price it's just a fire. A friendly host, quite clean in the room.

Frequently Asked Questions

More about Bali

Introduction to Bali

Bali, an Indonesian island known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, and stunning beaches, is the country's most famous tourist destination. Filled with ancient temples, rich arts and crafts, and a vibrant nightlife, Bali offers a kaleidoscopic blend of natural beauty and cultural depth.

Tips for Travelling to Bali

Bali's main international gateway is Ngurah Rai International Airport, located near the capital city, Denpasar. Travelers can explore Bali through taxis, local buses, bicycles, motorbikes, or even hired cars.

The official currency is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Most hotels and restaurants accept credit cards, but having some cash on hand for local markets and smaller venues is recommended. Indonesian is the official language, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas.

As for visas, many nationalities can enter Indonesia visa-free for up to 30 days, but it's best to check before your journey.

Popular Attractions in Bali

Bali offers a wealth of cultural and natural attractions. Explore the ancient temples of Tanah Lot and Uluwatu, or immerse yourself in the artistic heritage of Ubud, Bali's cultural heart. Visit the Tegalalang Rice Terraces and the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary for unique experiences.

Bali's beaches are equally enticing, with Kuta Beach, Seminyak Beach, and Nusa Dua Beach offering vibrant beach life. Surfing enthusiasts will love the waves at Uluwatu and Canggu.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Bali enjoys a tropical climate with temperatures fairly consistent year-round. The best times to visit are during the dry season, from April to October. Bring lightweight, breathable clothing, a hat, and sunscreen to protect from the sun. Also, remember to dress modestly when visiting temples.

Choosing Your Ideal Hotel in Bali

For luxury beachfront accommodation, consider the Legian Bali or the W Bali in Seminyak. In Ubud, the Hanging Gardens of Bali offers a unique luxury experience with its Instagram-famous infinity pool.

For budget travelers, the Puri Garden Hotel and Hostel in Ubud offers comfort and excellent service. The Dash Hotel Seminyak, with its eclectic and colorful design, is an Instagram-worthy stay.
