"After reading some earlier reviews, I was a bit worried it would be a bad experience. Thankfully, it turned out to be much better in person. Mr. Yao at the front desk even wished me a happy birthday when he handed us the room key, which reminded me it was my birthday month! The front desk service far exceeded my expectations, and the overall experience was better than anticipated. The hotel's location is truly excellent; we were able to enjoy Victoria Harbour until 11 PM and then walk back to the hotel without rushing. Plus, the mini-bar in the room was complimentary. Overall, a very pleasant stay."

"Very well located, just around the corner from the Metro station and one stop from the Hong Kong train station. I stayed in a double room with a balcony, and I think it was the best option compared to the size of the rooms in general in Hong Kong, which are not very big. It was clean, considering that they have a daily cleaning. There's also a common area where they provide some beverages, water or hot tea/coffee. The staff was nice and they allowed to store my luggage, since a I had a late evening flight."

Rooms are fitted with a private balcony offering an outdoor seating area and floor-to-ceiling views. They offer a private bathroom and come with a TV, a fridge and a personal safe. The hotel has a barbecue site, meeting room, and a tour desk.

"To be honest, the sea view and location are absolutely fantastic! The balcony room is totally worth it! The standard sea view room has a window, but it's sealed shut and can't be opened (which wasn't mentioned in the description... though they did open it for us when we asked, but the windowsill is so high you can't see the sea while sitting). I came prepared, but was still shocked by the room, especially the bathroom's condition. The daily cleaning was fine, but areas like behind the bathroom door and the tiles felt like they hadn't been maintained or properly cleaned in over a decade. We used half a pack of alcohol wipes to clean it; some of the black stains couldn't be removed, while others could (the bathroom really needs a deep clean! I can accept old decor, but as someone with OCD, I ended up cleaning it myself...). The overall decor and maintenance are worse than a guesthouse. However, the shower water pressure was good, though the showerhead couldn't be detached. In February, the room was much colder than outside. There was no heating or warm air conditioning, and the duvet wasn't thick enough. They provided an extra blanket, and I wore thermal underwear and fleece, then bought some heat patches from Wanning (they're excellent, staying warm for over 24 hours), and finally managed to sleep well (as someone from East China who gets cold easily...). Regarding the room upgrade, both Ctrip and the hotel surprisingly offered emotional and financial value. We cleaned the bathrooms of two rooms during our stay and got to see government helicopters up close. Downstairs, there are two beaches. Thanks for the million-dollar sea view!"

"Great hotel in a nice neighborhood with a good location and a pleasant view. The stove isn’t installed but is provided separately. The only downsides I found were that the floor gets cold quickly due to the air conditioner, and there’s only one hook for towels. Would recommend and come again!."

Hotel near Central and Admiralty,Hong Kong
The Lan Kwai Fong Hotel is conveniently located at Kau U Fong between Hong Kong Islands's bustling Central and Sheung Wan business districts. The hotel is within walking distance of the popular Soho and Lan Kwai Fong areas and offers convenient access to public transport including the MTR, tram, ferry and public bus. It's also right next to the world's longest covered escalator, which links the Mid-Levels and Soho to Central. The spacious, modern rooms in this Hong Kong hotel, accented with traditional Chinese elements, offer rain showers and iPod docking stations. Some have views of the city or harbor.

"Usually stay in Mongkok when in Hong Kong but decided to stay on Hong Kong island for first time in 2 decades. Hotel vicinity is quite steep and very high density demographics. Would not recommend for anyone with leg injuries or walking issues. If you’re fit and revel in hustle & bustle this place is reasonably good but is overpriced for what you actually get. Nearby food and coffee also very much overpriced for actual product(s), largely driven by tourism & commerce. 住香港時我通常住旺角。20多年以來第住香港島。 酒店附近相當陡峭,人口密度高。 不推薦給有腿部受傷或行走問題的人。 若倘你健康,陶醉在喧囂中,這個地方相當不錯,但對於你實際得到的東西來說,價格過高。 附近食品和咖啡對於實際產品質量來說均價過高,這主要是由旅遊和商業驅動的。"

Outstanding
AAnonymous UserThis was my first stay at this hotel. The beds in the small two-bedroom suite were too short, really only suitable for preschoolers. For anyone older than a primary school child, their feet would hang off the bed, affecting their sleep. The snacks provided were just supermarket items, which felt a bit perfunctory compared to the unique, custom snacks offered by other hotels nearby. As for the chargeable items, for example, a sanitary bag for 10 HKD (as shown in the picture)... Shouldn't these basic items be standard in a hotel? Using 'environmental protection' as an excuse doesn't seem very convincing. The shower sponge, in particular, was rough, thick, and very uncomfortable to use. I suggest the customer service department try it out themselves! The kitchenette in the two-bedroom unit was also too cramped. When I tried to change my room type (which was within the free cancellation period for my online booking), the front desk refused! Since it was only for a few nights, I didn't want to spoil my trip, so I didn't bother arguing. They did provide a washing machine, but no laundry detergent. You had to ask staff for a laundry pod, and they only grudgingly gave a tiny one. When you're traveling, convenience is key, and providing more conveniences for guests should be the core principle of service. Breakfast was a mix of Chinese, Western, and Hong Kong-style à la carte, and included low-quality carbohydrates.

AAninawang 08Extremely satisfied! From the front desk to room service, everything was excellent. The room was large, spacious, and bright. Although the bed in the double room was a bit small, the foot-of-the-bed sofa made it incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and well-designed with a wet and dry separation, and separate shower and bathtub – great attention to detail. The hairdryer was also modern and effective. What I liked most was the free mini-bar with drinks and the ironing area, which even had two types of irons. They also provided an air purifier, so the room never felt stuffy even without the AC. Not only did the room have a Hong Kong-style adapter, but it also came with a wireless charging stand, which was a very pleasant surprise. As someone who appreciates details, I was truly impressed and happy. On the second day, they even extended my check-out time by an hour and a half, which was a huge help as I was waiting for my daughter to finish her exam and didn't want to carry my backpack around. This was my most satisfying hotel stay in Hong Kong. The hotel is right outside a shopping mall with Tseung Kwan O MTR station inside, and there are many dining options nearby. Transportation is also very convenient. Highly recommend, and thank you! 🙏🌷🌷🌷

GGuest UserI chose this hotel for a concert at AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), and it's super close to both the airport and AWE. You can walk to AWE in just a few minutes via the skybridge. They also have shuttle buses to the airport and Tung Chung. The service was excellent; I arrived a little after 9 AM, and since a room was ready, the front desk let me check in right away. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, pretty standard fare. The downside is that the room was really, really small. As soon as I walked in, there was a strong musty smell. The sink and the bed were separated only by a small table. The room window was tiny and couldn't be opened, and the air conditioning wouldn't turn off, making it quite cold. Also, there were at least four mirrors in the room, with three of them facing the bed.

GGuest UserThe renovation is very new, but the room lighting is too dim, likely to create a 'luxurious' atmosphere. It's so dark I couldn't even see my beard when shaving... This really misses the point. Furthermore, for a seemingly 'boutique' hotel, it's unacceptable that there are no bathrobes in the room. I assume the hotel management made a conscious decision here, but this is a service that absolutely shouldn't be cut. Although the breakfast selection is limited, the taste is good. Aside from the salad and fruit, everything else was well-made. The scrambled eggs could rival those at a five-star hotel (though without the condiment bar present). The coffee quality is among the best I've had at countless hotel breakfasts, and the chef in the Chinese food section must be very professional. The bus service is a nice touch. It would be even better if checkout could be extended to 12:00 PM. Oh, and the gym equipment is excellent. The Guinness stout at the rooftop bar was good, but another local Hong Kong draft beer tasted distinctly off and sour, possibly due to low consumption and deteriorated pipes. If the bar insists the beer wasn't spoiled, then its sour taste matches the bartender's subpar skills. Also, I often work late. Despite having the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on, why did the cleaning lady keep knocking and waking me up? I was furious at the time; she kept knocking until I opened the door.

GGuest UserThe ambiance is absolutely unique and elegant, a blend of classic, modern, and avant-garde. I'm driving right now, so I don't want to write too much. If you insist on me writing more, I will, but you have to give me the points. Don't trick me into not getting my points!

FFelicia Yong Siaw NeeStayed at Regal Airport Hotel recently. Being the only hotel directly connected to Hong Kong International Airport, the location is definitely very convenient for transit and early flights. The rooms are quite old and could use some refurbishment, but the room size is still excellent — spacious enough even for 4 guests comfortably. One area that could be improved is the walking distance within the hotel/access areas. It may not be very elderly-friendly, especially considering the hotel is positioned at a premium price range. Providing buggy/cart services would greatly improve guest convenience and overall experience. On the positive side, the breakfast was really good with a healthy variety of choices. Overall, still a practical and comfortable choice for airport travellers and families.

CCheburekThe location of the hotel is great and i generally liked the old but well maintained building. General vibe is cozy and i had a terrace with the view to the inner yard. Check in and check out was easy, but you need to check the check in instructions when booking (next building) The room was very small had some food smells coming in during the day time since it was facing the courtyard. The room was clean however with some dust behind the tv. The room was not as expensive as in most hotels, especially in the area, so i think for 1 or 2 nights this hotel is fine.

AAnonymous UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and overall, it was an excellent experience that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and professional service provided by the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the front desk personnel were very welcoming, attentive, and helpful in answering all my questions. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, with soft linens and quality pillows that made it easy to relax after a long day. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided, including complimentary toiletries, a well-stocked minibar, and reliable high-speed Wi-Fi. The room design was modern and elegant, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. One of the highlights of my experience was the hotel’s cleanliness and attention to detail. Housekeeping did an excellent job maintaining the room daily, ensuring everything was tidy and fresh. The common areas such as the lobby, hallways, and dining spaces were equally well-kept, which reflected the hotel’s commitment to high standards. The hotel’s facilities were also impressive. The restaurant served a wide variety of delicious dishes, and the breakfast selection was especially satisfying, offering both local and international options. The amenities, including the fitness center and other recreational facilities, were well-equipped and convenient for guests who want to relax or stay active. In terms of location, the hotel is very convenient and accessible. It is situated near key attractions, restaurants, and transportation options, making it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. Despite being centrally located, the environment remained peaceful and comfortable. What truly made my stay memorable was the exceptional customer service. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure guests felt comfortable and valued. Their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to assist made a significant difference in my overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service. It offers great value for money and provides a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel at home. I would definitely stay here again and look forward to my next visit.

貓仙人The room costs just a little over a hundred dollars, yet the hotel staff would not even make the most basic eye contact. At the very least, should they not greet guests politely? Even a stranger asking for directions should receive a respectful glance. What could possibly explain such rudeness and lack of regard toward visitors—regardless of the staff members’ nationality? Is this a matter of personal upbringing, or is it simply the result of their own experiences? In any case, if one wishes to experience this firsthand, I would strongly suggest visiting—so that they may understand exactly what I mean.
