We stayed here after reading the reviews and thought it would be great but It was just ok. Our room for the two nights we stayed in was absolutely freezing, we tried putting the temperature up but it just would not warm up. Our room was actually lovely, really spacious with a huge comfy bed. The views though were of the back door of the co op with all the rubbish! The parking opposite was ok, quiet for February. I’d assume spring and summer you would find it harder to park. I think the hotel charge an awful lot for somewhere that don’t have parking. There is no one on reception in the morning, for the hikers that like to get up super early for breakfast and get out, good luck because breakfast don’t start till 8am! The breakfast was just ok, quiet in the bar area and they seemed to struggle with just a few people waiting so dread to think what it would be like in the summer. I asked for tea one morning and 3 times it had to be changed as it kept curdling, the waiter however was extremely apologetic and very polite. The toast they butter themselves which I’ve not come across in a hotel, found that odd. The whole hotel is clean, just a weird vibe to it.
