456 Hotel
3.5/514 Reviews
This is a budget hotel and is rated as such. Its a bit of an odd hotel as it tries to be something else. Location is easy to find and is about 20 min walk to Burnham park and the centre. Its easily seen in the city if you get lost as there is a large 456 sign lit in red to guide you home. Plenty of parking on various levels. Room was quite basic despite being sold as deluxe. Bed was very hard with only 2 pillows. Large bathroom and shower with plenty hot water. Basic condiments supplied with 2 towels.AC was fitted but not used as i think u hire the control from reception to use it. Lots of useless cupboards and a safe at the bottom of a cupboard on the floor which was odd. TV was ok with lots channels including cable. Kettle was supplied and mugs. Oddly enough no small fridge which i kind of wanted. A large bay window with great city view but no chair or table to make use of it and a total waste of space as such. The room was clean and well serviced bit tired. We had the 100 php breakfast which is ordered in a strange way but it was tasty and arrived on time. Staff are pleasant and helpful. You pay for what you get with no good or bad surprises. Would i use it again, well yes why not at that price its a bed. Make the most of what you have and you can't go wrong. Plenty taxi pass by its on one of the major city routes in.
Giraffe Boutique Hotel

This is the only Hotel in Baguio that accepts pets. The staff are very courteous and helpful. Especially the front desk and guards. We stayed in the Jr. Suite that firs 5 but we were only 4. There were 2 full size beds and 1 single bed. If you are a couple on the heavier side the bed will not be as comfortable. Amenities were complete: Toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton pads, q-tip, soap, shampoo, body washa nd lotion. They also provide pwdered coffee and water daily. Breakfast is included and it was quite good. We liked the garlic longanisa and bangus. They also gave us complimentary pet shampoo and coffee mug. Their Italian resto makes excellent pizza and has a great wine selection. We will be back here most definitely ❤️
The Orchard Hotel Baguio

The hotel is a boutique hotel and the theme/concept is good and has its appeal. We arrive after lunch and was told to wait for available rooms. No exact time was given but the girl at the reception was guessing around 3 which is beyond the standard 2 pm check in time.We waited by the reception area. After an hour I notice a newcomer who was able to check in so I went to the front desk about our room. The girl at the reception looked at me bewildered and ask me my name and seems at a lost. Another girl took over and after going through some papers, told us that we had a room. I wondered what would have happened if I didnt ask about it and just waited for them to approach us. The room is ample sized with an overhead fan which was working well. The beds are comfortable. There was only 1 pillow though which was small. I immediatedly called the reception for additional pillow explaining that I had a medical condition that needed me to be elevated while sleeping. The receptionist says that she will get back to me but doubted there was anything available since they had full occupancy. The girl never got back to me. There was a study table at the corner of the room with access to power supply. There was no AC but this is Baguio so it doesnt matter. THere was no ref. THere was a water boiler but no coffee or tea packs which is chargeable. The bathroom is ample and functions well. Water pressure is strong. There was a pad and a pencil at the side table but the pencil is all worn out. (not sharpened) Breakfast was at the 6th floor of the hotel. It was light and airy with a good view of the city. Choices were not much but food was good with an egg station, a salad bar and bread area. It was serviced buffet. Coffee was self serve and located in a corner of the room. One negative note here is that the sugar and creamer were served in bowls with teaspoons for customer to use. It would been more hygienic if they were in packets. Isnt there a covid protocol regarding this? The physical structure (rooms. function rooms. coffee shop) were quite good and as mentioned appealing. However, service is really poor. From the check in part of our stay, to not getting back to me on my request, to breakfast service where the clean ups were done sloppily, much can be improved on. Our hotels have always been distinguished by good service and hospitality and sadly Orchard is pretty off the chart.

We stayed for a week (7d 6n) It was a charming hotel that overlooks the mountainous Baguio City. Staff were accommodating, professional and friendly. My only downside is that there’s no shuttle to pick us up or drop us off to our preferred destination especially one night that we finished shopping at SM Baguio not so late at around 8 or 9pm and there were no taxicabs around. We were neglected by the SM’s dispatcher so freezing and inconvenient as it is, I called the hotel to pick us up since we were having a hard time booking a grab taxi. It is always drivers are busy all the time. The first lady at front desk wasn’t that helpful. She just gave a “wala na kaming magagawa” answer but the second front desk lady was accommodating and went the extra mile so kudos to her. Shout out to our housekeeper lady Grace who also is friendly and courteous and gave us all the amenities we needed. Replenished our sheets reqularly. Above all it was an above average stay but not as perfect since there were minor areas like, the bathroom sewer stinks, which I think they are aware of, no shuttle, the balcony is fine coz we were at the corner facing both the vines with some noisy construction workers chatting but tolerable and pine trees on your right. You have to lean over to get a good view but be extra careful for you might fall to your death. It was a charming and promising hotel. We might consider to comeback and tell this to friends, relatives and close loved ones.

We arrived early for our accommodation and we casually asked if we can check-in earlier. We were surprised that they accepted our request without additional fees. The rooms are clean, the beds are similar to a standard hotel. I highly recommend getting the Garlic Longganisa for breakfast. It's yummy and includes freshly brewed coffee. The hotel is accessible to two spas (I forgot their names) but I know there was a spa that I had to walk up to a dark alley. Also, there is now a City Ordinance that prohibits Smoking, so to all smoking guests, make sure to start stopping now when you visit Baguio City.
Kamiseta Hotel

10 I was intrigued by the photographs of this colorful, Victorian style hotel so we were looking forward to pur overnight stay last Oct. 4! The lobby is a sight to behold! Dazzling Chandeliers, a fairytale like ambiance filled with inviting stuffed sofas and Edwardian furniture, an over abundance of floral motif from the wall paper, the upholstery and the flower arrangements! Our friend commented that it feels like a decorator went over board! Well, it surely gave Kamiseta lots of personality (made our previous hotel look generic and bland). Our breakfast at the Vanilla Cafe was excellent and abundant. We had hot choco and the dollop of cream at the bottom of our cup is a sweet touch. The plate of garlic rice (shaped like a ❤️) with fried bangus, tocino, achara was yummy and filling. We felt like we were in The Mad Hatter's Party in Alice in Wonderland with a beautiful view of the garden. The staff is very gracious and so helpful to my PWD hubby! Thank you to Andrew the guard who was so helped us, Claudine, the friendly front desk lady and Abby the manager who gave us personal care and offered to put us in the room next to the lobby to make it easier for my hubby. Skyler of housekeeping who prepared the extra bed & provided an extension chord...everyone made us feel so at home! We will definitely stay here again the next time we go up to Baguio and will book 2 rooms (the room and bed are comfortable but not roomy enough for 3!). I think that some of the furniture (especially at the Vanilla Cafe) can be freshened up with reupholstery. It has been after 6 years (after their opening) so it needs some updates to keep the pretty look and feel of the hotel. Thank you to the staff for making our stay very special. 15 Oct 2023
