Barns Serviced Accommodation

Excellent - again This was our second stay at Barns and it not disappoint. The rooms are spotlessly clean, nice touch with the mini fridge with fresh milk and water. The street is very quiet, as are the rooms. Only 3 rooms but we didn’t hear or see anyone so we had the beautiful back terrace to ourselves, a little sun spot! Lovely large kitchen/dining area for your use but we ate out both nights. Would highly recommend.

Quiet, comfortable room that was a very short walk to the high street. Water, tea, coffee, and tea cakes in the room were an appreciated touch!

Very Clean and Comfortable The accommodation was excellent, very clean and comfortable. The only thing we were woken up early with a lot of noise of other rooms being cleaned and after being at a family wedding the night before we were hoping for a little more rest the following morning. But apart from that it was a good stay.

Amazing value for money. Clean, beautiful decor, in a quiet part of Ayr. The wee garden is a joyful place to sit with a coffee contemplating the day. All the little touches you'd expect of a much more expensive place. Absolutely going to stay again. Only negative was not having booked a longer stay. Well done guys! A fabulous experience for myself and my partner.

Arrived quite early in the day and was worried that we had a few hours to wait for check in, but we met someone there who said it would be ready in 5 mins. We parked in the front, there's permit parking along the road. The flat we were in is really well arranged. A large double bed (made of two singles) each with a pull out divan that we used for our kids. Everything is in one room, a space has been built for a shower room, toilet and sink, a bench seat in the window and a table for a kettle, coffee etc. There's even a very small mini fridge underneath. I was a bit worried about the idea of a communal kitchen and dining space, but it's really spacious and well kitted out with cutlery, plates, pans, kettle, toaster and fridge. I don't think there were many other residents when we stayed, so we never encountered anybody there. Overall, a really nice place to stay if you ever visit Ayr.
