Hyatt Place Austin Downtown

Have a great stays here. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is big enough for 2 persons and it was very clean.

It was a really nice hotel and for a decent price too breakfast was delicious indoor pool and beds were soft

Staff 10 out of 10. Friendly, helpful, great people. Hotel was very noisy, dated, not in great condition. Elevators sounded like freight trains all day and night. Showers never got warm, zero water pressure. Will not be staying here again.

It was good but not great. I think our room was next to the laundry area , I could really hear the sound of washing machine ,the hvac too.

I had a nice stay at the Hyatt Place. It was within walking distance to an event I was attending (super close to convention center and light rail, rental scooters available close by). The rooms seemed clean, bed was okay for hotel (I've had better and MUCH worse) there was some noticeable wear on sofa from previous guests mishandling it. Staff was available and helpful when we needed them. Valet parking was $56/day during the stay (no self park option that I saw) drop off and pick up was easy. Though I should have received an option to request car through text msg and didn't, ended up not being a big deal. I only grabbed coffee and fruit from breakfast bar, but there was a full spread. It was starting to get picked over when I went through, but it looked like staff were there to restock. I would definitely stay again for a quick trip, seemed like a good value.

Property was very nice and in convenient location. Be aware that the only parking is valet and that it is expensive. However, I will say that that the valets did a very good (and quick) job of taking/retrieving car.

The hotel staff is very nice and welcoming. Room service was also great, attentive and left the rooms neat and organized with clean towels every time they came in.

The staff, the cleanliness, the location, ability to retrieve valeted car etc., I have no complaints. My only negative is the room I stayed in was behind the elevators. Not sure why, but every time someone used it, I heard loudly it through the ducts. During the day wasn't a problem because I was out doing business. When I was trying to sleep it sounded like a rollercoaster climbing its first big hill. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep unfortunately. Everything else was great.
