DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Austin

Clean, room are spacious and the staff is very friendly & accommodating. Great location- close to a lot good restaurants.

We were at the Doubletree for a 3-day stay in Austin. Bedding was clean, but the carpet was stained and crusty in places. Sofa and desk chair also stained.

Definitely an older hotel, and it shows. Don’t trust the price that they have listed, because they’re gonna hit you for another $25 for self parking. The sad part is they have their own parking garage and there’s plenty of room, so there’s literally no need to charge for parking except for overcharging customers for your room.. The staff was nice. The place was clean, no complaints about the room, but I really don’t like the bait switch on the parking. The listing says self parking available, it doesn’t say self parking is $25.

We had 2 queen beds wich would imply we need multiple wash towels. After the first house cleaning we were left with 1 wash cloth for multiple adults. The sheets had blood stains and were clean but dingy. Never again

Staff made me wait about 30 minutes after the check in time to get a room because apparently the cleaning staff was behind schedule. Then the room that they gave me had a half eaten bag of chips in one of the cupboards as well as a used towel under the sink area from the last person to use the room, which tells me that the room is not thoroughly cleaned.

The staff were very accommodating ensuring I had an enjoyable stay. Property is well maintained! Will stay again if there’s availability.

I did not get in the pool but noticed other enjoying the pool which appeared clean, ample room and sun.
