We (couple with a 7 month old baby) stayed here for 1 week in October and we had a lovely time. The agriturismo is gorgeous and very quiet and peaceful. The staff were very helpful and accommodating (even answering my questions on WhatsApp before we arrived), it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It's great for families with the playground and 2 pools. Like most places, the pool is unheated so even in the warm October sun it was too cold to take the baby in but we did enjoy playing in the playground with him. It was useful having a hob and a fridge, you wouldn't be able to do much cooking there but we could at least store food and sterilise bottles. We ate at the restaurant most nights and ate on our patio / drove to local restaurants a couple of times. The agriturismo restaurant was good with multiple veggie options- not cheap and didn't open until 8pm but we took the baby asleep in his pram and that was fine. We visited Syracuse, Noto, Arenella beach and a winery south of Noto so we did end up doing quite a bit of driving. One thing that was a bit disappointing was that there weren't many farm animals- we hoped that would be a nice activity with the baby. But otherwise I highly recommend La Badiula.

A lovely place. The rooms were clean and air conditioned. The private pool for guests only was quiet and beautiful. For the community pool you need a swim cap which we didn’t know in advance, but since we had the other pool to ourselves most of the time it didn’t matter. The restaurant food was excellent (though not cheap) and service throughout our stay was friendly and second to none. I am gluten free and the restaurant was able To cater well and at breakfast they brought me a selection of gluten free cakes/ bread without asking which was very nice. Six of us stayed here and we loved it, but all agreed breakfast was a little disappointing, it was more limited than expected with no fresh eggs or coffee and if you wanted extras they came at a cost. Overall would highly recommend.

The property is clean and quiet . Ideal for a retreat . Staff in the reception is outstanding. They were there for every little thing you can ask about and were always happy to help out.

Lovely property in a middle of nowhere, quiet, clean rooms with very comfortable bed. Very much let down by the restaurant on site though, the worst food we had all week in Sicily unfortunately. They tried making food look more fancy but it was tasteless and had no depth to it. We have paid €6 for amazing tasting pastas in family run places so paying €15 for a bowl of pasta that is worst that something you can make yourself at home with shop bought pesto, felt very disappointing for our last meal in Sicily. Best lesson, If you want authentic eating experience stay away from commercial hotel space and go to local, family run places where there is real proudness and love in preparing food.

Quite the Fancy Stay!
This place is fancy! We needed an overnight with parking near Syracuse but away from the traffic of Catania. This option came up at a reasonable price. It was a bit of a waste for us to leave the next morning without enjoying some of the grounds and the pool, but who knew! The included buffet breakfast was resplendent with choices.

What a beautiful property with an amazing staff! The hospitality is the best we have ever had on our travels throughout Italy. The stay on the property revolves around the dining experience, which is traditional Sicilian cuisine. There are multiple pools that would be amazing to lounge by in the summer months. Access to nearby beaches, significant landmarks and beautiful towns, is simple but requires renting a car.
I cannot praise the staff more for their kindness and hospitality. They made the stay for our children safe and there is a lot of affection for the little ones, with gifts and treats.
We are incredibly grateful for an amazing stay and I would recommend this Agriturismo to anyone looking for a relaxing, stress free, quiet getaway in the heart of Sicily!

It is a little distant location if you think of Catania - but closer to the airport. 2 nice pool areas. Breakfast is buffet style - and quite OK. Staff is helpful and attentive. We missed possibilities for making tea and coffee in our room, we also missed glasses for water and wine. We think that this is below expected standard for such a hotel.
