Comfort Suites Auburn Hills-Detroit

Heater in room didn't work. They didn't have another room that had the same layout to accommodate our situation with children. So we got extra blankets. A room for 6 people had 2 towels. When I asked for more towels they gave me a pile of towels. So I folded them myself since the staff couldn't be bothered to fold them. Also no towels in pool area.

Pool was cold, the night staff was wonderful- the morning front desk worker called us twice because our kids were running in our room- at 8 am- but our room us above the office, which they put us in that room- we were only disturbing her, so that was annoying. Also the lobby and hallways smelled very strongly of **** due to some other guest smoking off the balcony.

The room was filthy disgusting. There was food stains on the walls hair in the bathroom all over foods crusted on the furniture and beds. Crap all over the floor use tissue in the corners.

Staff was nice, the room was spacious, but the facility as a whole needs some deep cleaning and updates. Definitely get what you pay for here.

The staff was great. Our forst room smelt strong of cigarette smoke. With having an asthmatic child we asked to move. The staff was very accommodating. Overall the second room was clean and comfortable beds. The walls however are very thin and we got litter sleep between the people having a party next to us until 3am and kids running on the floor above us. Breakfast was good. For a one night stay it was worth the price.

We received 2 uncleaned rooms before getting a cleaned one, then 10 minutes into our stay another guest opened our door as it was double booked.

Room smelled of both kinds of smoke. Check-in process was brutal—took over an hour to get into our room after check-in time; had to wait because none of the rooms were clean and system wasn’t updating properly/user error/who knows. Front desk agent was SO nice and accommodating. She saved the visit.

Very friendly staff. There were a lot of kids there this weekend so it was really loud on the floor we stayed on. The room Was very clean but there was no towels and the room phone was broken. Overall I will still say it was at 3.5 star this time!
