I was arranged to stay on the very ground floor at extreme corner while I noticed no one else on the same flooor.
It is strange.

The location is great. Very close to Georgia World Congress Center, Olympic Park, Coca-Cola, and Peachtree train station. Generally, Atlanta is quite scary because of the homeless people on the streets and the cat-calling. The hotel is nice, tho old. The uber pin is Sheraton, so i guess it was acquired and rebranded. Clean and quiet. We haven’t tried some amenities like the heated pool and gym but everything listed is available. They have provided bottled water during check-in but nothing after that. Our room have veranda facing the pool so it was nice to unwind after a long tiring day.
The only problem was, we were charged with destination fee ~$28/day aside from the deposit of $100 - released after check-out, which is not listed here in this app. Or was it was the city tax? Idk.

Courtland Grand hotel is a profit at all costs company. I booked a hotel stay there as a 19 year old, for 250USD, arrived in Atlanta at night and went to the hotel to get rejected and had to urgently find somewhere to stay while in Atlanta in the evening time.
Hidden in their policies page it says only 21 and older can check in, and no refunds no matter what. So this hotel stole 250USD from me and left a 19 year old roaming the streets at night trying to find a place to stay. I've attempted to get a refund but they don't care if I attempted to stay and was turned away, they charged the full amount anyway.

I recently stayed at the Courtland Grand Hotel during a conference in Atlanta. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown, with easy access to major venues and public transportation. The lobby is spacious and has a classic charm, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating during check-in.
However, there were a few areas where the experience fell short. The room was clean but felt dated, and the room lights are not enough to light up the room. Housekeeping was inconsistent—some days everything was well-stocked, while on others, they will clean room while you are inside. The elevators also seemed slow, especially during peak hours.
Destination fee failed to collect upon check-in. I received a letter on the door of the unit and you cannot enter the room without paying on it.
Need to ask for the complimentary bottle water, never been provided upon check-in also the same for the dental kit.
Overall, it’s a decent choice if you’re attending an event nearby and looking for a central location, but there’s room for improvement in amenities and room updates.

I booked the hotel due to it's proximity to the NCAAF championship game. I booked the room for 3 people but towels were only for 2. The room service request by telephone was not successful...no one answered after 5 minutes of ringing. I went to the concierge for towels and they handed them to me and told me to take them to the room. Then the toilet got plugged and it took two trips to the main desk and 5 hours to get the toilet unplugged.
If you like the location..great...if you need service you will want to visit another hotel.

Customer care can be better for people travelling from far. Checking in can be adjusted. The food was great. The facilities were great.

The check-in staff wasn't exactly cheerful. They deserve an upgrade, but a meager 5 is more appropriate. The hotel organizes all sorts of things, from birthdays to gatherings of all cultures that obstruct passageways. It feels like a small market in the hotel.

The room was OK, but the management was not very good. The room was not cleaned every day, and no bottled water was provided. No one answered the room phone to the front desk. The most terrible thing was that a homeless man who looked like ****** entered the swimming pool from the back of the hotel. We happened to be playing in the swimming pool with our children. The hotel found the homeless man and drove him out after about 20 minutes. It would be troublesome if he rushed into the guest room. I just felt that the security was not in place and the hotel management had loopholes. I was not very satisfied with this stay. The valet parking fee was $45 per night, which was more than twice as expensive as the parking lot next to it, but the valet parking service was slightly better in the whole hotel. There were more homeless people near the hotel, and the roadside smelled of urine...
