Aso Resort Grandvrio Hotel Reviews

Short drive from Mount Aso so was convenient after visiting the crater. The hotel is quite old with furnishing like the 1980s. The Indoor hot spring was just a small simple tub. Overall the stay was not very comfortable as the room and amenities are quite old.

Room is big with a nice view of the golf course . Breakfast range is good and comes with a bath house. Overall a good hotel stay experience

Excellent hot spring facility. The breakfast has plenty of variety and food quality was good. Unfortunately they assigned the incorrect room type to us but that was immediately rectified.

The Golf Course with view of Mt Aso is beaitiful. We opted for dinner and breakfast and both meals were very good. Service staff were friendly and helpful. The drive in to the hotel is rather far, good to have your own car. The hotel has shuttle service as well.

Hotel set in a lovely setting within a golf course. However, The Hotel inside was pretty dated and did not match its setting but fine. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Location was also good for trips to Mount Aso.

A beautiful golf resort style hotel with a superb onsen. The only downside was encountering some unruly tourists brushing their teeth inside the onsen area, which was a bit off-putting. However, we still had a great time using the facilities—the free-to-rent board games and table tennis were a lot of fun! Stunning mountain view from the pavilion

The room was a bit small, and the towels had a really unpleasant, sour smell – it was honestly unbearable. I wasn't very satisfied. The room view was decent, but overall, the place felt quite old and outdated. The transportation wasn't convenient. Overall, it was just an average experience.

Breakfast were good

I had a wonderful stay here. The room was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, creating a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was especially comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants and amenities. Communication with the host/staff was smooth, and they were friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the stay. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Dinning experience can be better especially on the breakfast & dinner selection

We enjoyed the snow during our stay. The service and breakfast are good. Some facilities such as the bathroom and sink need renovation. The aircon was noisy.

A dated hotel but the views of the golf course are breathtaking. Did not try the public Onsen but it seemed very popular with large groups of tourists and golfers. Water pressure is good and size is bigger than the usual Japanese hotel. Good for families, couples and kids.
